When booking on the Seabreeze website you see lovely photos of the cabanas, however, you have no control over which unit you get when booking. I arrived thinking I was getting a lovely little cabin with a deck and a braai area, as well as a bath, which were all in the pictures. What I got was a tiny little flat with a bathroom the size of a cupboard and a minuscule bedroom for my children to share with a very high, unsafe bunk bed. For the price I could have found far better accommodation in the area. Won’t be returning.

After 3yrs of going here & it being one of the most beautiful places in the Cape Province, we shall unfortunately not return...The house we stayed in was very well equipped, clean & well looked after. The staff members are fantastic & it is literally 5 minutes’ walk from the beach. For a family with small children/teenagers, you couldn’t go wrong!
However...if you prefer to have a quiet breakaway & relax around the fire at night, this is not the place to go. Even though there are rules in place with regards to noise levels, many do not adhere to this & we had 4 sleepless nights.

The location in Victoria Bay is excellent and offers very good value for money. However, the towels and sheets had an unpleasant odor and appeared to be in need of a wash. Additionally, there was some confusion upon our arrival as the receptionist was unable to locate our unit number; some additional training might be beneficial in this regard.

Good day Chanel, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Firstly we can assure you that your linen and towels were freshly washed and your unit serviced on the day of your arrival. Keeping everything smelling fresh is a challenge at a humid seaside resort, especially through times of rainy weather where we do not have sunshine to assist. We will investigate alternative detergents. As for your booking, you are aware that you did not make the booking with us in person but that the bride to be booked multiple units on behalf of her guests and that she allocated the units to the guests. As we were not made aware of these allocations it was obviously necessary to check allocations with her and get guest details on arrival. We hope that you enjoyed the wedding and your stay with us. Please raise any concerns in future with personnel during your stay to afford the business the opportunity to rectify situations. Kind regards

Great location BUT that is it. Unit 34 needs some serious maintenance and spring cleaning. Outdated is one thing that a person might tolerate but cleanliness is not negotiable. The dust between the cupboards was so bad I did not want to pack my clothes in there. There was marks on the walls from previously smashed bugs.
You can see the unit has only been cleaned superficially for the last few years because the dust was not from a few days or weeks. I did mention this to reception and they did clean the unit after I mentioned what was wrong but again only cleaned superficially.
It was not a comfortable stay at all!

We stayed in unit 20 during the December holidays and had the time of our lives! We were 6 adults and 1 teen and the house had ample space for everyone. The three bathrooms helped indeed! The beds were very comfortable and the braai area at the back of the house ensured that we could enjoy quality family time in private.
The staff and security were very friendly and we cannot fault their service at all.
The beach is walking distance from the house and was clean and safe at all times. The restaurant at the beach is a must- the vic bay pizza and milkshakes are the best!

We are already planning our next visit and hope to see Seabreeze Cabanas soon!

Thank you for making our holiday special.

Besides that it is within a walking distance from the beech, it is ideal if you want to explore inland and the garden route. The units is clean, fully equiped, safe play area for kids and n swimmingpool. You are just 15 minutes away from George with malls, restaurants, doctors, ect..

Made a booking for myself and my 90 year old mum and ask if they have accommodation availible with limited or no stairs. it was a nightmare.we arrived early and want to pay before i took her to dr.i was told that i have to come back 2pm.i came back 2 pm and the lady was on her phone.I ask her again if it comfortable for my mom to walk and she gave me the keys from house 3.
Its a very narrow up hill road and when we arrived there there were a bakkie and lorry with a trailor in this narrow road ,parking infront of nr 3.there was no parking near the house and my mother could not even get out the car.Eventially i get hold of the office and ask for a refund .The lady then decided to give us a house on ground level.

Seabreeze Cabanas offers self catering accommodation for the family. Each unit is individually owned so be sure to be specific in your requests. The unit we stayed in was clean and comfortable. This particular unit (28) was a little outdated and could do with a little TLC but otherwise well equipped.
The establishment is very secure and safe walking distance to a semi secluded beach called Victoria Bay. It seems to be a spot for surfing or just chilling on the beach. This is a swimming beach with life guards. Victoria Bay is a very good location to stay if you are exploring the Garden route. There are no shops or restaurants in walking distance from Seabreeze, however the closet Mall is about 10min drive.

We came here out of season so the evenings are very relaxed and quite. It's truly well worth for what you pay and cabanas are well equipped. We use this location to explore the rest of the garden route but find it just as easily to lounge here the whole day. It's quite near to a wonderfull beach, some 200m. We go there without using a vehicle and that's very convenient because that beach is very popular.
