Very friendly people I felt at home. Food was very nice just the room was a bit small and will be more comfortable with microwave in room because after a long day it's just nice to relax in your room heating you food and go relax.

Many thanks for the review, so pleased you felt at home, and that you enjoyed our breakfasts, that is what we strive for. Unfortunately, you were booked into our budget room, which is a bit smaller than the other rooms (hence the cheaper rate) - but your comment about a microwave is noted - just where to put it is the problem haha! Our other rooms do have microwaves and fridges. However, we are always happy to heat up anything for you if you come again in the future, and we thank you for taking the time to review our establishment. Kind Regards Dawn and the Edenwood Team

I stayed in one of the upper rooms for 2 nights and was very surprised on how spacious it was. I normally work on my laptop during the evenings and had a choice of sitting outside on the stoep with beautiful views of the Outeniqua mountains or inside when it is a bit chilly. I have to mention the comfortable bed that made me sleep like a baby, it was quiet, good quality bedding and cushions. The host was welcoming and made sure that I was comfortable. Great breakfast and just what I needed before a busy day. Although the bathroom was not en-suite, it did not bother me because it was private and assigned for my exclusive use - it had a huge shower and beautifully decorated. Overall a most enjoyable stay and I will definitely be back. There is also Netflix.

Edenwood guesthouse is the place to visit. Old fashion charm and an amazing host Dawn. Dawn is very caring my mother in-law felt sick and she worried about her. The garden is awesome you can read a book and hear the bird's sing. Everything is perfect 💞💞💞

All health and safety protocols are followed and I felt safe and very happy in this spotless and luxurious guesthouse. Thank you for making my trip a good one. Rooms are extremely well equipped and comfortable. I chose a self catering option and had a lovely stocked kitchen. Certainly a home away from home in a safe and friendly environment.
