Situated in the Heart of George, in the Bo Dorp, Two Fat Owls Guest House is the ideal base to really explore the beauty of George and all it has to offer. The Guest House has 1 Spacious Honeymoon Suite with Mountain views, and 5 Large Luxury Rooms. We have an enclosed parking area for 9 vehicles. Each room has a king-sized that can be converted into twin beds. The rooms all boast DStv, Wi-Fi, coffee/tea facilities, a hairdryer and a shaver point. Bed linen and towels are supplied for each room. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom. Honeymoon Suite: This room has a king-size bed and a private exit onto the patio with a view of the pool area. A honeymoon set up with champagne is available on request. Luxury Rooms: These rooms have a king-sized bed and their own bathroom with a bath and shower. On-Site Facilities: Secure parking is available on site and from here you can easily walk to the many restaurants or the botanical gardens. Free unlimited wifi. ADDITIONAL FACILITIES An outside braai area is available for your use as is a lovely swimming pool. The lounge area and TV room with an indoor braai area is a wonderful place to relax.

A very enjoyable stay with comfortable, clean rooms .
I could relax after a hard day's work and had a full bouquet of DSTV channels to choose from.
Lezette was a wonderful hostess and nothing was too much trouble!
I had to leave very early on some mornings and they saw to it that I could have breakfast before leaving ....the omelette was superb!
There is safe parking, wifi gave no problems and there was power during loadshedding.
I will definitely return!

We were very happy to discover Two Fat Owls after having had some very average overnight stays in George previously. The location is extremely convenient and just a short walk from town, restaurants, etc. The rooms were very comfortable and we had a great breakfast. We were a group on a cycling trip, and it was great to be able to securely store our bikes, get some laundry done and generally be very well looked after. Lizette is a fantastic host. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic, home away form home.
my daughter went with and stayed in her room to study for 3 days and Esme made her feel so comfortable, checking up on her. She also recommended places where we could go for supper.
I leave early for work and she accommodated me for EARLY breakfast, thank you.

We had a wonderful stay overnight in George on our way to Stellenbosch. The owner was there to great us, showed us around, recommended places to eat and made sure we were comfortable in the clean and spacious rooms. Thank you for your friendliness and effort to make us feel at home.

We were welcomed by the host and our room was a lovely large room , very clean with a lovely bathroom with free standing bath and an amazing shower. The large bed was very comfortable and the bedding luxurious. The breakfast was also delicious as was the guava juice. Safe gated parking and central for ever. I’d definitely recommend and we will definitely be back.

This guest house is absolutely stunning but what really makes it a hidden gem is Lezette, she went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable and enjoyable.
We stayed at the two fat owls in February for my partners 50th.
It’s was our highlight of our Hoilday.
The guest house is beautiful designed, immaculate clean and the breakfast was stunning.
We will definitely be returning.

It was really a great experience, when we stopped in the parking Lizette was outside to welcome us, she was phenomenal throughout our stay to the next day when we left, very friendly & warm. Her hospitality was great, the accommodation was very nice, it was like home away from home. I will definitely recommend anyone to stay there.

Overall good service and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is fantastic and the rooms make you feel at home. The owner is also very friendly and will recommend the Two Fat Owls to any traveller going to George.

Wonderful stay! The guesthouse is located close to nearby restaurants on a beautiful street. My room was clean, spacious, and well equipped. The hostess and her team were warm and welcoming, made it feel like home! 10/10
