We stayed for 3 nights in this great little hotel. The rooms were well appointed with AC and although you can see they are not newly built they are still just fine. Any queries were dealt with promptly and very efficiently. We ate at the hotel one evening, which was really pretty good. The includded breakfast is nice and is generous. All in all, good value and I would stay again.

I enjoyed the beauty of the Lodge, the wonderful and ever smilling staff and their attention to my dietary needs. I had special breakfast every day. The neatness and cleanliness is amazing too. I'll definitely recommend Glen Avon Lodge to everyone.

Bright, spacious suite with a lovely bathroom. We were eligible for an upgrade from a room to a suite and breakfast courtesy of booking.com which made this stay super great value for money. The verandah overlooking the pool area with views to the mountain is the perfect place for the first cup of tea of the day. Very conveniently located in Constantia, literally a stone's throw from Peddlars and even though that main road is busy, the property was quiet. The bed was very comfortable (nice firm mattress!). I'd advise checking prior to your stay whether the mini-bar will be available (as per lockdown reg's) as a G & T sundowner would have been lovely but was not available when we were there. We didn't stay in for dinner but the breakfast was just divine; a real treat of several courses served on the stoep overlooking the gardens by the super friendly staff members. Thank you for the review. G&T's are always avaialble from reception, even in lockdown. Covid lockdown rules and regulations, require us to empty our mini bar fridges, but we will gladly serve at the pool, or on your terrace, or sell something to put in your mini bar.
