We are a family of 5 who have had an amazing few days being spoilt rotten by Lola and her team. From the home made goodies upon arrival, the comfortable beds, fabulous breakfasts and well stocked bar.... it is all relaxing, friendly and well worth a visit. Lola went out of her way to look after us all and even drove us to and from the local vineyard so we could have a few glasses of wine. Great for couples and families. Definitely recommended by us all.
I have just spent ten days in this warm, welcoming, beautiful B&B. Nothing is too much trouble for the charming, friendly and helpful owner, Lola Bartlett from the cosy, comfortable cottages to the sumptuous breakfast offered every morning. The luxurious rooms are well equipped and set in quiet and lush surroundings. I can't wait for my next visit.
A wonderful quirky, beautiful guest house, in the fabulous wine valley of Constantia. This wine valley is the closest to the city. Stables is such an authentic setting with lush gardens and a splash pool. Once you have stayed everyone returns. The best breakfast in Southern Africa. Great friendly owner.
Our charming and comfortable room was located by the plunge pool surrounded by mature tranquil gardens. Lola produced a splendid breakfast setting us up for the day. In the early evening guests gathered for sundown drinks and exchanged daily experiences in a very convivial atmosphere hosted by Lola. We feel part of her lovely family now after many years and we always look forward to our next visit to this very special place.
Like most of the guests we have been returning again and again to this most hospitable of places. Lola and family have become genuine friends, and we know that they will always maintain the high standards which have made our holidays with them such a pleasure. The rooms are varied and attractive amid luxuriant gardens, while the breakfasts are undoubtedly the most satisfying that we have found in South Africa.
