My husband and I had occasion to visit Capetown, South Africa. We stayed at the Beluga guest house. Peter was a wonderful host. Being a local resident for years, he had many tips on great restaurants and tourist options for us. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Hair blowers, tea, coffee, fans etc. All available for our use. Breakfast was terrific. An assortment of yogurts, fruits, mixed meats, hard boiled eggs, croissants and breads were available every day. Delicious. The grounds and pool area are gorgeous. Meticulously maintained. Beautiful place, reasonably priced. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you Peter. Barb and Rick Marshall Wasaga Beach, Ontario Canada

Beluga is one of the most delightful guest house experiences to be found in Constantia. My room was comfortable and beautifully furnished with the most superbly comfy bed! The room contained everything one needs for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, including air conditioning, WiFi, a TV, coffee, tea and water provided in your room, and LOADS of cupboard space. The rooms are easy to access and also offer plenty of privacy, which isn’t always the case in guest houses with multiple rooms. My room opened up onto the beautiful garden and inviting swimming pool, and I really loved the comfortable sofa on the patio outside my room - the ideal spot to curl up with a book and enjoy the tranquil gardens and bird life. Hosts Peter and Casey were warm and friendly and it was immediately evident that providing their guests with top notch service is a priority for them. The breakfast was just divine, and as a lifelong Constantia and Cape Town resident, Peter has great tips on activities and amenities in the surrounding area. Beluga is centrally located within Constantia and is excellent value for money - a real hidden gem! Will definitely be back for future trips to Cape Town.

What a nice place! room 3 is spacious ,huge bed and a good shower! The Host Peter is a really nice guy , and gives you every morning a nice breakfast and some tips for the day. Lovely pool to relax in and a garden that is very nice. Constantia is a very nice neighborhood with lots of good wine estates and also restaurant La Parada in about 10 min drive is an absolute must to visit. With a rental car you can drive around Cape Town in about 25 minutes to almost every high light from this B&B

Our stay was very enjoyable, the rooms well located and well equipped. The bed is huge!!!. The location is great, breakfast is very good, the swimming pool very warm and Peter is an excellent, welcoming host. My only recommendation for improvement would be to put a blind on the door between the bathroom and the bedroom as the frosted glass doesn't quite provide the correct amount of privacy. WIFI is very quick. We definitely plan to return to Beluga when we come back to Western Cape.
