Anet was poorly when we arrived but as soon as she was up and about came to greet us. Room was very spacious with en suite supplied with complimentary toiletries. Good breakfast cooked to order and served at a communal table where we compared travelling tips with fellow guests. Anet supplied pool towels and we made use of the loungers. Parking is behind a secure gate. Hope to visit them again if we ever make Cap Town again.

We booked direct short notice and stayed 3 nights. Anet replied quickly and efficiently to all our queries. We had a lovely stay, our room was spotless, lovely comfortable bed, secure private parking, lovely breakfast, good Italian restaurant a very short walk away.

Positive: Anet and Allan are extremely accommodating - our earlier check-in was not a problem and we even received a room upgrade! The room was spacious, modern and comfortable with Wifi and DSTV. Free breakfast is included and the environment/setting is very homely - the breakfast even tasted exactly how my Mom would make it! There is a lovely pool and common room and safe indoor parking. Great value for money in Constantia, will definitely return when in the area again! Negative: It would be nice to have had a bottle of water in the room - we had small glasses that we could fill at the bathroom tap, and we hadn't thought to buy a bottle of water beforehand. We were still happy to drink the tap water, however I don't know how others or foreigners might feel about this?...

My stay at Caxton Manor was amazing. The guesthouse is situated in a very quiet neighbour. Ideally good for people travelling for business or want some quiet time. There is not much to do in Constantia. The room was small but very clean. I would definitely recommend Caxton Manor to friends and family.
