La Rose is an eclectic mix of French, Indian, Cape Malay and African influences, where old world and modern embrace. Each en suite bedroom is unique and stylishly decorated to reflect the colourful Bo-Kaap and South Africa. It is home away from home, designed to cater for tourists as well as business executives and is gay friendly. Centrally located, it is one of the most central areas in the city.
Staying at La Rose B&B in Bo Kaap, Capetown was wonderful! Yoann is very friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay. La Rose B&B is situated pretty central, not far away from downtown Capetown and the Central Business District.

It was our first visit to Cape Town and we could not have picked a better location than the Bo Kaap neighborhood, which is an interesting destination in its own right, and in walking distance to the city center and the V & A wharf. The breakfasts were hearty and served in a communal setting with our host Yoann always present to talk about history, logistics or anything you are curious about. He was also very responsive via WhatsApp. The staff were top notch— reliable, trustworthy and accommodating. We were able to handle most things on our own but we needed help they were always there! We will return to La Rose without question!

This is a nice location in Cape Town, at the edge of Bo Kaap. Yoann, the owner, is very helpful and welcoming. He has a lot of things to tell and a good knowledge of the SA history and situation. I really enjoyed the breakfasts in his company, and the nice decoration and atmosphere. Superb view from the roof. Rooms are comfortable. Security is ensured and not oppressive.

I enjoyed my stay at the La Rose for 2 nights. The rooms are very clean and there is enough space to move around (no cabin fever). Also liked the fact that despite being within the heart of the Cape Town CBD is very quiet and allows for a great nights sleep on very comfortable king size bed. The owners Yoanna and Adheera are very welcoming and hospitable. I shared a deliciously made fresh breakfast with them the morning of my departure. My only suggestion on improvement would be for the room to have a desk to work from. Many thanks for the comfy stay. I can recommend the La Rose.

I appreciated the time Yoann spent to make a personalized and comfortable stay. The breakfasts were a highlight. I loved hearing the call to prayer and being in walking distance of city center. Would stay here again.

Convenient location, full of character, spotless and very comfortable. Loved our stay …we had to leave early in the morning so our host gave us takeaway breakfast! The upstairs deck has stunning views

Lovely eclectic bric-a-brac bed and breakfast with comfortable rooms, beds and bathrooms and a very good breakfast in the "riyad" style inner courtyard of the back house. Nice quiet roof terrace for dawn/evening views of Table Mountain.
