We spent three nights at John and Sharon’s B&B. From the moment you step on their doorstep it feels like coming home. We got all the help needed when planning our next adventure. They even went to the shop for us to buy us an ice cooler. It is everything you want when you are staying abroad and then more. All the little things, like a made up bed after breakfast or small chocolates, add up and distinguish their B&B from good to fantastic.
John and Sharon were the best hosts. Both have very warm and kind loving personalities. You can just let go and switch into holiday mode after spending your time at Redbourne. Would definitely recommend to stay at theirs as we are looking forward to come (which we will!!!!!!)

Extraordinary hospitality- I've travelled the world a lot and met many friendly landlords, but this was just outrageously special. Our prior hotel cancelled the booking without pre-announcement, so we arrived at Redbourne's place late in the evening without reservation. Sharon and Jonny welcomed us more than heartily, sat there until late in the evening planning with us the next days. Sharon was ready to help whenever she could, gave good recommendations, booked an Uber, even gave us some Rand since we had none due to the late arrival.
The location is very central, safe neighborhood, you can walk to the city centre by foot, the view from the guesthouse is stunning.
Breakfast very good.
Could not have found a better place and will definitely come back.
Thanks, Sharon and Jonny

Thw owners of the Guest House were very attentious and helpful in providing guidelines about the tourist options in Cape Town.
We had to leave very early (5:00 am) to catrch our plane and the owner woke up to help us have our car settled to go to the airport. It was very kind of him.

We only spent one night there - but I wish we were there for longer! The venue is beautiful, the rooms tastefully decorated, comfortable and you have everything you need at hand. The aircon in the room was a bonus as it was quite cold! Added to that, the solar availability and having access to wifi was great as we needed to be connected for conference calls. Jonny and Sharon are incredible hosts, making you feel like you're at home, nothing is too much and they go above an beyond to accommodate your requests. The breakfast that came included the next morning was next level and a beautiful view from the breakfast nook made it even more special. I have never experienced a spread like that at a B&B! When back in Cape Town - this will deifnitely be our go to place to stay. I would recommend this spot without hesitation. It is also situated in a nice quite part of the city with Table Mountain as the backdrop on one side, and the city scape on the other side. It is a quick 10 min drive to the City Centre. The pool looked very inviting too but I will leave that for a future visit in summer, lol. Thanks for your hospitality Jonny and Sharon - we had an amazing stay.

I loved my stay at this wonderful B&B in Cape Town. It's so central and convenient. Sharon and Jonny are the most fantastic hosts who make you feel like you're part of the family. Their breakfast nook is so lovely with the most amazing view and their meals are abundant and delicious. The rooms are spacious with large, comfy beds and loads of space to sit and work. It's a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood, perfect for a restful stay. I will definitely be back!

Everything about the place was 5 stars. Starting from the hosts Sharon and Johnny, the lovely home, the location and the view.

Sharon and Johnny were like family and gave us a lot of suggestions on what to do around Cape Town. I enjoyed my morning walk cum trek with Johnny and the stories.

There is free roadside parking so that was definitely a plus. And if you wish to Uber around Cape the location is just within 15 mins to the V&A.

The view was great with a majestic view of Table Mountain and also Signal Hill

Definitely my first choice if I visit Cape Town again

Sharon and Jonny are probably the best hosts you can find in cape town. We had such lovely chats and Sharon gives you all the information you want or needed to have the best day trips.
The accommodation is just great. Interior with a lot of wood gives an amazing look and feel experience.
The breakfast is TOP while you having a view over CT city which gives you a boost to start your day
We stayed for 3 nights but next time we will stay longer. There is so much tod do in CT and the accommodation is best we had in SA.

Great place to stay if you want a more personal touch to your visit to Cape Town. The hosts Jonny and Sharon are absolutely warm and friendly, and they make the best English breakfast I've had in Cape Town so far. The home is charming, with breathtaking views of Table Mountain and the sea. The bedroom is spacious and has a verycomfortable bed. There is also a pool for the hot summer days on-site, and an on-site honesty bar for all those last minute drinking needs. Highly recommended if you need a quiet calm space to rest in Cape Town!

The owners were a friendly and welcoming couple, we enjoyed the breakfast together with a great view over Cape Town. The room was nicely decorated, the bathroom was large enough and the shower was excellent. Aircon was working well, would have preferred a large blanket for us. We will come back the next time we are in Cape Town.

This property is a great find in Cape Town: the owners offer friendly, professional service, and really make you feel welcome in their beautiful heritage home. It's a short hike up to the base of Table Mountain (weather-permitting). The hosts have great suggestions for first-time visitors.I highly recommend this property!
