I stayed at 2Inn1 for the first time many years ago travelling with a friend. I wanted to come back with my family, so we booked first for March 2020, then rebooked for December 2020, then rebooked for March 2021 and we finally made it in March 2022!
Through the pandemic the amazing 2Inn1 team did everything they could to accommodate our changing plans.
When we finally made it, the welcome was out of this world, like meeting long lost friends. Nothing is too much trouble, restaurant bookings, suggestions for where to go, the best times to go to the beach, what to see in Cape Town, what’s new. Recommendations for guides for Table Top Mountain and Lions Head hikes, just ask Steffi! And always the same lovely welcome on returning after each adventure.
Our rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and provisioned. Having the pool was perfect for chilling between excursions. And the breakfasts are exceptional!
Sundowners on the terrace, my favourite part of the day.
Thank you 2Inn1, it was every bit as good as I had remembered and very special coming back.

Lovely hotel and surrounds but there is the service seems a bit sugar coated and fake from some of the management and staff. Kenneth and service staff were a highlight though, very friendly and genuine. The open plan eating area would work if there was more atmosphere but it feels quite stifled with the snootier, richer guests this place attracts all sitting there in silence. If you're looking for a hotel with a great pool and well designed rooms with a lovely view from outside this is it. Just beware when booking the luxury rooms do not all have views as promised (we had a view of the courtyard and road not of Table Mountain), the atmostphere is not very warm and they happily charge over the odds for services you're lead to believe are included (only when paying the bill were we told two average sandwiches and some crisps were ZAR100 and complimentary sunset drinks were chargeable as they ended at 7pm which was never made clear).

This was our second visit to this amazing property; it was even better than before! To say that the level of service from Klaus, Christoph and their team is beyond any expectation is an understatement. Yes - believe the reviews on trip advisor.
The genuine warmth and willingness to delight every guest is second to none. The management and staff, ever-smiling, will ensure that your stay here is like staying with old friends. Steffi, what can we say about you? A boundless energy, an attention to detail like no other, and a big heart - we love you.
Thanks to you all for a wonderful holiday. We'll be seeing you again soon.....

We ended staying here quite by chance during our honeymoon, when our original accommodation became unavailable.

We arrived at 2 Inn 1 after a long flight and were met by Klaus, Christoph and Sadika. We were given a warm welcome and offered an array of drinks but could only manage an OJ. Our suitcases were lifted in for us.

Klaus showed us a choice of rooms , both of which were very nice.We chose the luxury room upsairs with a balcony overlooking the pool.We had a wonderful view of Lion's Head.

The room itself was beautifully decorated, with all amenities and perfect for honeymooners. The bathroom was modern, high spec and spotless. The attention to detail throughout the property was amazing. Decor throughout was contempoary with african touches.

What really stood for me was the warmth and friendliness of our hosts and their staff. Klaus gave us recommendations about about Cape Towns attractions and eating out, all of which were excellent. Nothing was too much bother for our hosts. It is easy to relax in such an environment.

There is a lovely outdoor area with Jacuzzi and swimminmg pool and sun loungers.

Breakfasts were excellent, plenty of choice with a cooked breakfast availlable every morning. The Breakfast could also be taken out in the sun.Every morning we were greeted by happy, smiling staff, which is a good indicator of the establishment.

We enjoyed chatting to the other guests in the comfortable sitting room.It was nice to be able to share in other peoples experiences of Cape Town,

I have stayed in many hotels and guest houses but 2 Inn1 is so good I had to write a review on Trip Advisor. This was the benchmark for accommodation during our stay in S.Africa. We'll be back!

Oh goodness, what a time in Cape Town. So glad we chose 2inn1, as the service so often mentioned in this review really came in handy.

The property itself was really lovely. Great location, secure and thoughtfully decorated. Although we found a couple small bugs in the bathroom, it was taken care of quickly and without being intrusive.

The staff at the hotel were great - friendly, personable and extremely helpful. They arranged many tours and restaurant reservations for us, and were very thoughtful when recommending destinations around the beautiful area.

My friend and I had a great time for the first 6 days. Until, in the middle of dinner on the 6th evening, I started feeling a bit queasy. It became apparent very quickly that I was suffering from food poisoning. Oh no. After an eventful trip back to the hotel, let's just say that the rest of the evening was not enjoyable for either one of us (we were sharing a room with one bathroom). I won't go into too many details here, but let me assure you it was not pretty. It got so bad that finally, in the middle of the night, my friend convinced me I needed to go to the ER.

The staff was very helpful and sympathetic. They immediately got a driver to take me to the ER that, thankfully, was very close to the hotel. When I got back to the hotel in the morning, they had offered my friend a vacant room, free of charge, for the last day and a half of our trip. They definitely did not have to do this and I was so, so grateful that they did. (I'm sure my friend was, too.) It made the last day and a half bearable for both of us. Throughout this whole time, they made sure to check on me now and again and help me with what little I could eat. I was so thankful to be at this small, boutique hotel with personal service and I felt very well taken care of.

So. That's my story. Yes, the property is beautiful. Yes, the happy hour is great. But what makes any place shine are the people, and in this case, the people were amazing. I'd recommend this to anyone taking a trip to Cape Town.

Seriously, my husband and I did not want to leave this slice of Heaven. Claus and Christophe, the owners, have this place running like a perfect timepiece. Their team never seems to leave a stone unturned and have a keen eye and ear to anticipate your needs. From the moment you arrive to the time you must say goodbye, the owners and staff make you feel like family.

Upon arrival of our week long stay, Steffi greeted us with a local cell phone (a super nice perk), a delicious gin & tonic, and our itinerary for the week along with maps and detailed descriptions of all our excursions and restaurant menus. It was incredibly impressive and much appreciated to have all those details taken care of.

The finer details from a cell phone programmed with important local phone numbers (like a recommended taxi service) to umbrellas in the rooms to a heated floor in the room and bathroom are just part of the package. Our room had a particularly amazing view of Table Mountain and Lion's Head. Every morning we had either a gourmet made-to-order breakfast or ate from the yummy breakfast bar making it a perfect, relaxing way to start the day. Whatever your plans are for the day, Steffi and/or Claire are there to help get your day started.

You get the warm feeling from all the staff who seem to love what they do and want all of us to have the best care. It is apparent that Claus and Christophe are fabulous employers.

A couple of stand-out situations to mention, one day while walking around town shopping, we got caught in a driving rain. We kept walking thinking we were going in the right direction to get back to 2Inn1 and felt we were close. We called on our provided cell phone to get more specific directions and Claus answered . He told us he knew where we were and to stay put for he would pick us up in his car. He arrived within 3 minutes and whisked us back to 2Inn1. It was quite a nice thing to do. He could have easily told us how to get back on own or called us a taxi, but he chose to go the extra mile to help us. That is the kind of place this is.

One night, we decided not to go out to dinner since we were tired from a long day, Claire fixed us the best meal on the fly. I believe her shift was done, but she stayed to make sure we had dinner.

It is these kindnesses that speak volumes about this spectacular gem of a boutique hotel. If there was a way to give more than 5 stars, I would. We plan to go back one day.

We recently returned from a week at .2inn1 to see in the New Year from Cape Town.

I had previously visited the property 6 years ago, it was wonderful then and it’s still superb now.

The venue is faultless, fantastic pool area and a wonderful breakfast, it’s also set in a beautiful part of Cape Town, quiet street overlooking beautiful gardens, and in easy reach of everything you’d want to do in the city.

However, it’s the dedication that Klaus, Claire, Steffi and the entire 2inn1 team have, to making you feel like family and going to any length to make your stay special and everything go smoothly. From the moment we arrived we did not want to leave, Claire had already arranged all of our restaurant bookings and our room was fantastic and ready upon our arrival. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for this team, it’s rare to find people so warm, helpful and charming.

It was a delight to spend New Year here, and a lovely touch by Klaus and the team to set up some early evening drinks with all the guests to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

We would highly recommend 2inn1 to anybody visiting Cape Town, and I’m sure we will return again in the future.

Only checked out this morning and already thinking about our next visit.

Gorgeous facility and amazing staff, nothing is too much trouble. Worth the extra on top of a hotel room, this is special. A car ride from the waterfront but Uber works a treat for that, we had never used them before but they were great - cheap and reliable.

It was our first stay but won't be our last, thanks to all involved in our stay.

I can't speak highly enough of 2inn1 - everything about this place is wonderful. The setting in a lovely residential street close to lots of great amenities, views of Table Mountain from the breakfast and pool area, the lovely spa, fantastic spacious and clean rooms (with a view of the mountain if you're lucky). But above all else, the service here is better than anywhere else we've ever stayed - and we have stayed in many 5* luxury hotels around the world. There's a great skill to being helpful without invasive and the staff here manage it to perfection. Whether it's helping you get a reservation at a great restaurant or mapping your route to wherever you want to visit, they have it covered. And the sundowner drinks between 6-8 are a lovely touch to start your evening off right.

If we ever come back to Cape Town there's nowhere else we'll be staying! Thank you to all of the team at 2inn1 for making our time there so perfect.

None of the five star reviews here are an overstatement. From start to finish, Klaus, Claire, steffi and the team did everything possible to make sure that our first visit was truly memorable. We came with some ideas as to what we might do in Cape Town, but upon arrival, the team put together an itinerary for us with pain staking attention to detail. They also provided us with useful tips. In summary they were great hosts: from a warm arrival to a lovely send off when we left. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are spacious and well maintained. Overall, highly recommended - we will be recommending to anyone that visits Cape Town.
