Stayed in a luxury room with my honey at the remodeled 2inn1 Kensington in Cape Town and was overwhelmed with the upgrades and six star service. This little piece of paradise had been closed for six months and the results of the upgrades are spectacular. This small boutique inn is nestled next to Table Mountain in a prestigious and very safe part of Cape Town. What’s extraordinary is their attention to detail and desire to be sure our stay was special. The manager, Steffi arranged for a rental car for our next stop in Durban, made an appointment for my honey at the hair salon and surprised me with a birthday celebration. This is our third stay in the past five years and the experience only gets better because the entire staff and owner truly care about the total experience. It’s a great inn with marvelous amenities, but the big plus is the quality of care offer to every guest.

2inn1 Kensington is an exceptional boutique hotel set run by the most superb team of people.
This was our third visit to 2inn1 but we were with friends who had not stayed before and Klaus, Chris, Byron, Steffi and the whole team went out of their way to make us feel so welcome and really made our stay in Cape Town a unique and memorable experience.
It feels like staying with friends or family and that is what really sets 2inn1 apart - This is not some soulless hotel - The staff go out of their way to deliver excellent service and the property (recently renovated) oozes charm and style.
Breakfast is an absolute delight as are the daily sundowners overlooking the pool or lions head. The spa services are also top drawer.
We travel extensively for business and pleasure around the world but this hotel is THE reason we return to Cape Town now and we always will return here, as it holds a special place in our hearts.
Thank you Klaus, Steffi, Chris, Byron and the whole team at 2inn1 for creating such a tranquil and magical place.
We could not imagine staying anywhere else in Cape Town.

2inn1 Kensington was like coming home, even though it was our first time there. Everything was just right: breakfast was incredibly varied and fresh, rooms were beautifully furnished and very clean, very nice pool (area), pretty garden with various comfortable seating areas, various stylish and comfortable places to stay in the house, the location of the house was very quiet and safe, parking on the street in front of the house with security. We got great tips for our activities in and around Cape Town, for going out in the evening including table reservations. The early morning hike up Lion's Head with Mucki, the best guide ever! was organized by Steffi.

For us, the most beautiful boutique hotel at the foot of Table Mountain, the 2inn1 Kensington is the best starting point for the most beautiful days of the year / vacation.
We have stopped counting in the meantime, after all these years the 2inn1 has become our second home and our home when we are in Cape Town.
We are always happy about the friendly welcome and the warmth that we are always shown, service and the support in finding restaurants and possible activities, Klaus and Christoph always think of something, and Steffi is just cuddly, a really great team with all the employees.
We always enjoy the special, very personal ambience and the charm / chic of the 2inn1, the friendly conversations with the staff and the help we receive from everyone.
The rooms are absolutely great and all have a special chic / style, "contemporary" is right, it captures the spirit of lifestyle and modernity, simply brilliant.
The 2inn1 is and remains a gem of a special kind, a place to relax and unwind, to switch off from everyday stress and the little worries that constantly preoccupy us. A small place with great warmth and an empathy that you can always feel, that gives us a feeling of security and contentment.
In the meantime, we have made great friendships and contacts over the many years that we don't want to miss.

Finally after 2 long years we have returned to this beautiful boutique hotel at the foot of table Mountain. All the rooms are beautifully designed and the breakfasts provided are plentiful with amazing variety of choice. Coming to Cape Town was not easy the last years, coming to 2inn1 is like coming home to my family. Since more than 10 years we had the opportunity to come to this small (only 7 rooms) wonderful decorated and perfectly maintained boutique hotel. Solar heated swimming pool, inverter battery to cover some of those annoying loadshedding interruptions. Lovely hosts who do not only prepare a healthy and sumptuous breakfast but also will assist you for dining, all leisure activities and give shopping tips. So, it is necessary to book asap! And the whole team is like a family, most of the staff are despite of CoVid working here since more than 10 years. So, we will definitely come back, hoping others will not be faster in booking here.

A stay that leaves nothing to be desired. We were given such a warm welcome and it was a pleasure to be guests here.
Drinks were brought in abundance and the rooms are very lovingly and meticulously designed. The entire furnishings are of very high quality.
The pool has recently been heated and can also be enjoyed in the evenings.

After undergoing an extensive refurbishment last year 2inn1 is back on the market and ready to party. The redesign has meant the loss of two rooms overall but the creation of new spacious suites, each of which has its own terrace with fabulous views of Lions Head. Exquisite decor and plush furnishings allow you to relax immediately into your sumptuous surroundings. All the charm of the house and the impeccable service is very much evident. One of my favourite hotels in the world. Klaus, Kris, Steffi and all the 2inn1 team as well as thanking you for yet another wonderful vacation I have one word for you all....Bravo! We shall be back!

This was our 7th stay at the 2inn1, and it is now even more stylish after all the work they have had done over the winter. Our room was considerably bigger with a spacious bathroom and more storage space than before. The public spaces are now larger and beautifully decorated. Thankfully nothing has been changed as regards the service, Klaus,Chris,Steffi and Byron are as attentive as always & still manage to come up with excellent new ideas for us for places to visit & restaurants to try. This was en excellent location for exploring Cape Town. We truly enjoyed our stay here. The owners and staff are all friendly and welcoming. We also enjoyed the daily breakfast and coffee each morning and chatting with the owners and other guests. They were extremely helpful in planning our stay and places to visit and where to eat. The neighborhood is very cute and walkable to some great restaurants and bars as well. Hope to be back someday ❤️!

You can explore the city, Table Mountain, Camps Bay, Waterfront with the hop on hop off bus. The bus stop is within walking distance from us. For day tours to the surroundings as Cape of Good Hope or the Winelands we could arrange guided tours for you. We also work together with a reliable taxi company. It was too cold outside to go in the pool. One gentleman out of a full house was in for about 5 minutes.....he didn't seem to have a problem getting in.
