#4 of 169 in Cape Town Central
Travellers' Choice
Jardin d'Ebene is an old Cape Dutch homestead that has been meticulously refurbished and decorated in a refined contemporary African style. It is situated in the heart of the city bowl, right below Table Mountain. All five rooms are all uniquely designed adding flair and character and do have their own luxurious open en-suite bathroom. The tranquil grounds boast a relaxing day-bed nestled in the garden. As well as a plunge pool and sundeck with breathtaking views of Lions Head.

We stayed for 2 nights here and would highly recommend anyone to stay here. As other reviews gave said, Roland is a great host who has a daily chat with you over breakfast and if you share your plans will provide superb advice and recommendations. We stayed in the Lion room with a lovely double bed and a great shower. Breakfast was choice of cold fruit, yoghurts, bread, cheese and meats, even before you consider any of the cooked options offered to you. Lovely.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at this wonderful B&B. The house is an old farmhouse with 5 rooms for guests. Our host, Roland, made us feel very welcome and was a fount of knowledge on the many attractions available in Capetown. Our room, the Zebra room was spacious with a large bathroom with a big tub/shower and double sinks. The large bed was very comfortable with a warm duvet. Breakfast consisted of 3 very fresh types of bread with many spreads (my favourite was the orange marmalade). There were several cereals, 3 delicious yoghurts and fresh fruit along with exquisite French pastries. We were able to order fresh eggs cooked as requested, bacon, mushrooms, and tomatoes. The coffee was the best I have tasted in Capetown. We were able to dine leisurely in the beautiful

We spent 4 nights with Roland and his staff and had a great stay. Roland goes out of his way to make sure that you will enjoy your day by giving you helpful advice every morning if you share your plans with him. He gave a great advice so that we could maximize our time and see the most important sites while in Cape Town. Highly recommend this guest house!

The hospitality was extraordinary. The individual rooms were unique and well kept. From the moment we arrived Roland and his staff made our stay in Cape Town a special experience. Roland had great recommendations for everything from restaurants to tours. The 5 rooms here are extraordinary and special whether you are traveling as a single person, family, or group. PS breakfast is wonderful. I highly recommend.
