Jardin d'ebene Guesthouse was amazing!! Roland and all the staff were delightful and so helpful. Every morning over breakfast, we would get recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Roland definitely made our trip more memorable with his vast knowledge of the area!

We rented a car and we're able to park off street right in front of the house, next to security. Otherwise there is plenty of street parking available.

Breakfast was delicious! The rooms were very clean and spacious with an amazing shower. Roland even lent me an adaptor since mine didn't work. He was such a great owner. I loved the Honest bar at the end of the night. And it was so nice to have fruit and muffins out for snacking.

The location was perfect. We were walking distance from a lot of restaurants and bars. We walked around the area every night and never felt unsafe. Getting to other areas of Cape Town was a very cheap Uber ride. It was perfect!

We will definitely be back!! Thank you, Roland!

Our stay at Jardin d'Ebene was fabulous. The guesthouse is perfectly situated near great restaurants and many CapeTown attractions. It's beautifully decorated with comfortable beds. The owners are outstanding! Roland greets guests every morning. He is most helpful in planning activities. Most notably, he offered a ride to the pharmacy while running one of his own errands so my husband could try to replace insulin he accidentally left at an airport hotel while laying over. This act of kindness really helped ease a major hurdle for us. I'd certainly return to Jardin d'Ebene!

Roland and his wife has created an oasis behind the gates to the street! They offer a warm welcome, and are happy to help you with all you need. Lovely gardens with petite pool for morning plunges, cosy stoop for evening drinks or afternoon coffee when you come home from a busy day on the town. But the rooms are even more worth talking about, each with its tote animal. They are spectacular! Wildlife and safari styled, the offer an intriguing yet cosy atmosphere.

We spent a very enjoyable 4 days at Jardin d’ebene. Roland and Alexandra were wonderful hosts. We were upgraded to the Elephant Room, which was very comfortable. The property has plenty of public spaces (indoor lounge, covered veranda, pool area and garden) which means you have lots of room to relax unlike sone other guest houses which can feel quite cramped. The location in Tamboerskloof is very convenient.

The breakfasts are lovely. The people here friendly and gentle. My room was impeccably clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and a hot shower. It has everything including a convivial owner with a wealth of knowledge about Cape Town and its surrounding areas.

Roland is one of the most pleasant and helpful hosts my wife and I have ever encountered. He went out of his way to make our stay memorable. He treated us like family. I would highly recommend a stay here.

A big thank you to Roland, Alexandra and the staff for their hospitality during my stay in wonderful Cape Town.

There's nothing much more that I can add that hasn't already been covered by previous reviews.

The accommodation is delightful and well situated for exploring the city. Roland has some excellent suggestions for nearby restaurants. I'd particularly recommend the Portugese chicken curry at Toni's!!!

I stayed here for 2 weeks whilst visiting my daughter and would highly recommend Jardin d'Ebene. I would certainly return. The position is perfect ... easily accessible to all parts of Cape Town. My room was very clean and comfortable. I had everything I needed. Roland was wonderfully hospitable and very easy to talk to. Staff were always very pleasant and obliging. Breakfast out on the terrace overlooking the pool was lovely too. Highly recommended.

We arrived in a lovely guest house with a lot of charm that is owning by Roland, german who live since a lot of year in SA. Roland was really nice and it was a pleasure to speak with him about South Africa history but also the current situation. He helped us and avdised us a lot of things to do in town. Also, all his team was nice and very helpful when needed.

We slept in the Zebra room that is a very spacious room with a nice bathroom. This room had a lot of charm and the bed was... huge and very confortable. The decoration is very well done.

I would advise and recommend this guest house to anyone who will go to Cap Town. Again Bravo Roland and thank you for everything.

First time in Cape Town and following reading other reviews, arrived feeling confident as a sole female traveller. Roland and his team were very attentive, breakfast excellent, room lovely. Very close to excellent restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Dear Cheryl, our Buffalo Luxury Room has a twin bed facility, all other rooms have double beds - Queen Size Extra Length in our Standard Rooms and King Size Extra Length in the Luxury Rooms. If you want to book please send a mail to us with the booking dates and we make a plan that the Twin Room is available. We are very centrally located in Cape Town - the city centre is easy reachable by foot, we also arrange tours for you if you do not have an own car. Kirstenbosch Gardens is about a 20 to 30 minutes drive away, but you can reach it for example with the Hop On/Hop Off bus - a very convenient way to explore the city. The Robben Island Ferry is just a 10 minutes drive away - if you want to take a taxi it will cost you approx. 50 - 60 Rand per trip to the V&A Waterfront. If you want to see the penguin colony it makes sense to combine it with the Tour to the Cape of Good Hope - you could do it on a half day tour, but I always recommend a full day tour, which we also could arrange you. You will be picked up at the guesthouse and when you come back they return you to the guesthouse, or to any other place in the city... We have plenty of VERY good restaurants within walking distance from our guesthouse (5 to 10 minutes) and it is safe to walk there even at night. We also have a MyCiti Bus Stop nearby if you want to use public transport to travel in the city. It's not easy to mention all possibilities you have in a short message - if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. Thanks and have a great day, Roland
