Review collected in partnership with this hotel
Roland, the curator, was very welcoming and helpful through out our stay. The location is perfect for walking to great restaurants and downtown, and a very short uber ride to anywhere else in the Cape Town area. The accommodations are comfortable and charming.

Hello! Do you have breakfast options for vegans? Fruits, potatoes, pastries made without milk or eggs?
Good day sir/ ma, May I please have your contact? I plan spending my 10 days vacation in Republic of South Africa come June..
Hi. Checking to see if you have a luxury room available with 2 beds, and how easy it is to get from the Guesthouse to the K. Gardens, Robben Island, the penguin colony, etc. Thanks so much! Cheryl
Dear Cheryl, our Buffalo Luxury Room has a twin bed facility, all other rooms have double beds - Queen Size Extra Length in our Standard Rooms and King Size Extra Length in the Luxury Rooms. If you want to book please send a mail to us with the booking dates and we make a plan that the Twin Room is available. We are very centrally located in Cape Town - the city centre is easy reachable by foot, we also arrange tours for you if you do not have an own car. Kirstenbosch Gardens is about a 20 to 30 minutes drive away, but you can reach it for example with the Hop On/Hop Off bus - a very convenient way to explore the city. The Robben Island Ferry is just a 10 minutes drive away - if you want to take a taxi it will cost you approx. 50 - 60 Rand per trip to the V&A Waterfront. If you want to see the penguin colony it makes sense to combine it with the Tour to the Cape of Good Hope - you could do it on a half day tour, but I always recommend a full day tour, which we also could arrange you. You will be picked up at the guesthouse and when you come back they return you to the guesthouse, or to any other place in the city... We have plenty of VERY good restaurants within walking distance from our guesthouse (5 to 10 minutes) and it is safe to walk there even at night. We also have a MyCiti Bus Stop nearby if you want to use public transport to travel in the city. It's not easy to mention all possibilities you have in a short message - if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. Thanks and have a great day, Roland
