A very quiet and pleasant place to stay, easy to drive to all parts of Cape Town. Parking in the road was no problem. Local vibe with easy walk to restaurants in Kloof Street. Lovely sunny outside area for breakfast. A big bedroom with stunning views over the city from the outside deck, and Table Mountain at the back. Warm...

Very Good, clean lodge with a nice swimmingpool. Bit noisy due to outside traffic. Breakfast buffet could be expanded a bit. Friendly owner. Perfect for a stay in Cape Town. Helpfull staff and owner without being pushy. May select this lodge again.

We stayed five nights in rooms 3 & 4 which were very nice, especially no 4. In room 3 we were not that happy about the fact that there is a glass wall straight into the bathroom (and toilet). In room 4 the toilet has a door even if the rest is open. In general these open bathrooms that we...

Luxurious peaceful oasis. Friendly gracious hosts. Lovely breakfast; in sunny weather you can enjoy it on the patio while admiring the view of Table Mountain. Relax by the pool in summer. Good security. Highly recommended.

Our room was quite nice although the bathroom was down some narrow stairs which made me a little nervous in the middle of the night. The two resident dogs were a joy - entertaining us as we relaxed by the pool after a...

We are happy to have stayed at Rutland Lodge in January for 3 nights - the home is beautiful and located in a picture perfect suburb with views of the cable car to Table Mountain. Sonia and the team were always welcoming and friendly - willing to go the extra mile to make our stay extra pleasant.

House is safely layed in a villa area but close to the center and the family has lots of good advises for delicious restaurants and places to visit. We enjoyed our stay at the lodge...

The house had been built in 1905 in the dutch style and has therefore a genuine charme. The owners a really friendly and helpful, they had good recommodations for dinner. The rooms were big and and decorated in african style, but not overstyled. We have had a superior room in the 2nd floor, there we have had a big terasse...
