The hotel is situated on a very noisy street, with multiple music venues within ears reach. This meant it was impossible to relax past 8pm (even with the ear plugs which are given to you when checking in!). The music went on till 4am every night we stayed, and the bass reverberated through our room. If the windows were double-glazed perhaps this would help keep some of the sound out. The rooms and bathrooms are good sizes (the bathrooms are especially nice) and the staff were for the most part very helpful. Breakfast was good, but very basic. If you are young and don’t mind limited sleep, and want to be situated in the midst of the night life, then this might be a good option to explore.

The hotel was nice and small. Not too busy. The staff are always friendly. The rooms are big and comfortable. The baths are very big. Rooms can face either the main road which is good for night life, or rooms facing the side roads for the visitors who are disturbed by the night life sound.

The hotel was very modern. My room was on the 6th floor facing Table Mountain-what a gorgeous view. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Nice touch in having coffee and tea in the room along with a fridge. Breakfast was amazing with a choice of 1 cold item and 1 hot item. Cold item could be cereal or yogurt with fruit. Hot item was a full english breakfast, or pancakes with bacon, or omelette. along with tea or coffee and juice. Bit noisy at night. Lots of eating places in the area. Need to be careful walking in the area especially at night.

Perfectly located in Long street. Secure parking garage next door. Reception area bright light and sunny. Staff incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable of surrounds as we were looking for a great lunch spot. Check in was smooth on point and hassle free. Our room was spacious with the most incredible view of Table Mountain and the night life long street has to offer. We slept well in our very comfortable bed and ha don issue with noise levels from the city street. Breakfast was huge, prettily presented and enjoyable. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. Check out as smooth and pleasant as check in. 5 stars well done Urban Chic Boutique Hotel

The hotel was nice and clean and the normal facilities. The dark lady was very helpful at the reception. The fair coloured lady was very grumpy and of no help at all. She just sat at the desk eating crisps and wouldn't even bother unlocking the gate at the entrance door. Breakfast is another thing to be mindful about. It is not a buffet but you have a handful of things to choose from. The guy working at the restaurant was grumpy. A smile doesn't cost anything. Cheer up guys.
