This was my first solo trip and I could not have picked a more perfect place to stay. First, the location was great. It was very easy to find and once I was there I was walking distance to lots of major attractions, restaurants, shops, etc. Once I arrived I was greeted with smiles and it stayed this way, day and...

2nd visit. Would recommend. Very clean and tidy. Good position for enjoying Cape Town. Close to The Waterfront and other local attractions. Hotel very well kept. Has had a makeover since our last trip.

If its a party street location you're looking for then this is the one to go for. The double glazing does drown out most of the busy street life in the nights so you can enjoy the street vibe or shut it out when you're tired. The staff make this place a great experience as they were all always friendly...

We spent a night in this hotel and we couldn't sleep. The noise from the clubs downstairs went on until 4am.We were in room 8 which faces the street, despite the double windows, the noise could still be heard. Not good for business travel, we were exhausted. The room was nice and the hotel is nicely decorated. It does not...

Hi Mari & Wayne I was sorry to hear on departure that you did not manage to get much sleep. The room you stayed in was on the corner overlooking Long Street and has since had improvements done to further reduce noise. As of this week, we have completed the upgrade in terms of improved double glazing of the sash...

We enjoyed sitting out on the 2nd floor veranda, having a drink and watching the party goers below us, hopping from club to club. The hotel is right in the center of all the lively fun on Long Street. The 4 of us had no problem sleeping with the "white noise" of the street crowds.

Its a great hotel. The room its very comfortable. The shower its wonderful. There are some small gifts on the room, like all you need to prepare a coffee or tea. There are many noisy places around, but there is acoustic insulation to windows the two most incredible things on this Hotel are: 1) localization - there are restaurants, shows,...

I loved the Long Street Hotel! It was really cute with all the amenities I wanted (coffee in the room, free water in the lobby, helpful staff), plus it was in a great location and was very cozy. I was a little worried about the noise after reading other reviews but I had no problems with it, despite being on...

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel! The location is perfect- right on Long Street. The rooms have double windows so none of the noise will reach the rooms. Our room was very quiet, clean, and comfortable. We would return!

The hotel is very good but the location doesn't suit business travelers because of very high levels of noise from the night clubs. Maybe you should put a notice that this hotel is not suitable for business & leisure. There's also no parking available in the hotel. We had to park in the church premises next door at an additional...

Hi Vhutshilo Thanks for sending your feedback. We are not sure if we would agree that the hotel does not suit business travellers as we have some that stay here on a regular basis. We would, however, agree that the hotel is not ideal for light or senstive sleepers, owing to its proximity to nightlife festivities. We have leased parking...
