Stayed 4 nights - great location, 10-15 minutes walk from the restaurants, shops and eateries of the V & A Waterfront. Good value: clean, functional and spacious accommodation. We particularly valued the balcony which was lovely to sit out on at all times of the day. Also free, secure on-site parking.

Minor complaints: we only had one key fob between the two of us to leave and access the complex so had to synchronise things if if we wanted to go our separate ways.

A great location for a four night stay at the Waterfront in Cape Town. Safe and secure, with underground parking just a few yards from the apartment. The balcony overlooks the water, and the Waterfront itself is just a short and pleasant 10 minute walk away - though people with mobility issues might want to be a bit nearer. Well equipped with dishwasher and washer/dryer. A couple of issues with the safe and the hot water in the kitchen area were fixed within minutes by the management staff. Superb master ensuite bedroom, and the other bedroom was good too. Our apartment was actually serviced every day, even though the info provided indicated it would be every three days - bonus!
Only drawbacks were the very noisy seagulls roosting opposite, and there was no table on the balcony to have meals outside - though that might just have been our particular apartment.

This is a complex of super luxurious apartments , fully furnished and with a fully equipped kitchen . We stayed at a three bedroom apartment, which suited our family of two couples and two kids perfectly . The apartments had a gorgeous view of the waterfront and the table mountain ! So much better than staying at a hotel ! Unlimited wi fi access for a nominal charge , free cleaning service and equipped with a large TV, home theatre system, Blu ray player , and sit out spaces , this was a really comfortable stay ! Yes one can cook meals if one wants and departmental stores are a stone's throw away . The V & A waterfront is walking distance which makes eating out and exploring the city a total breeze ! Would definitely recommend it over cramped hotel rooms for those travelling with families .

We are a married UK couple in our 50's and we stayed at these amazing apartments for 8 nights in February. From the moment we booked until we were dropped off at the airport to go home we were treated with the utmost courtesy and consideration. In our eyes Lionie is the star of the company! She was so helpful and lovely to talk to. Nothing we requested was ever too much trouble for her.

The apartment itself was super modern, spotlessly clean (and I am a compulsive clean freak!) and had a lovely new smell to it! We never saw the housekeepers, we would go out for the day and when we returned it was as if the apartment had been cleaned and made up by magic! The bed was beautifully comfortable and the towels were luxurious and plentiful. There were a few provisions left for us to get us started like milk, teabags and coffee. Other things we needed we bought from a shop at a nearby petrol station or at a huge supermarket within the V&A shopping centre. The only problem was carrying it back so don't buy too much unless you're out travelling in the car.

We sat around the larger swimming pool a few times which was very nice. Sometimes it was difficult to get into the area as our swipe cards didn't operate the security doors there but we just asked some kind residents and they let us through. The pool area has a lovely view over the marina and we always found some loungers to lie on. One niggle was a male resident who chatted constantly on his mobile phone, he was very inconsiderate to those around him and was annoyingly there on 2 occasions! We sat as far from him as possible the second time!

The location of the Mountain Marina apartments is superb. It took us 6 to 7 minutes to stroll over to the main hub of the V&A Waterfront where all the shops, restaurants and entertainment is. The open top tour bus commences just a 5 minute walk away too right next o the aquarium. We always felt very safe walking around this area, in fact all over Cape Town city centre. There are a few persistent beggars but we just ignored them until they got fed up and left us alone. The apartments are very hard to get into without an official entry card so it always felt very safe once we were within the grounds.

We loved seeing and hearing the seals which congregated around the marina (the smell was not so good but not a problem at all!!). Sometimes they would lie around on the back of the posh boats just below us which was a fascinating experience! One of the nicest things for us was sitting on our huge veranda eating our breakfast and looking out at the view over the marina.

The one thing that I would not recommend purchasing is the internet service. We may have been unlucky but the package we bought that we calculated would last us several days was used up overnight. It wasn't that cheap either! It made us wonder if someone in the vicinity had the 'log on key' to the wi-fi that we were using because we had hardly used any data ourselves! We didn't purchase any more after that for fear of it happening again. Free wi-fi that is working is not easy to find in Cape Town. A lot of the restaurants and cafe's that we ate and drank in said their wi-fi was either down or not working! Most places didn't even have it!

There are not many Tripadvisor reviews for these apartments which is why I wanted to put this one on! If you are considering booking an apartment here, do not hesitate! It truly is the nicest city accommodation we have ever stayed in! There are several different options of apartment size depending on the needs of your family. You will be treated like royalty! Take advantage of airport taxi service they provide. The cost was well worth it and there's no worry about it not turning up.

Once again, thank you Lionie for such a wonderful service you provided. We wish you well in your career in tourism.

We stayed in apartment Helenslee 603. Apartments was clean, well furnished and fully equipped. Fantastic view from the rear Of Table Mountain and the canal and Marina out front.
Location gives easy access to the V&A Waterfront area while providing a secure facility
The quarterdeck facility is just across the canal bridge and provides a clean pool area and a well equipped gym
Can’t fault the services provided by Mountain Marina, from the welcome and instructions on arrival, the cleaning, to the WiFi in the unit.
The only thing stopping us rebooking now is the uncertainty in the current water situation in the Westen Cape.

This location is within a gated secure property right on the water and lovely, lovely, lovely. It is just a short walk to Mandela gateway and all the shopping and restaurants of the marina area. A drive up to Table Mountain, Signal Hill or to the District Six museum is quite short, but the car is necessary for that. We took a drive down to boulder beach and Cape Point too and this is easily done in one day. We found this to be a terrific hopping off point and such a convenience to walk over for dinners, breakfasts, a drink or whatever shopping might be wanted or needed. I would very surely stay here again!

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment over the Christmas period and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The apartment was luxurious with everything we could ask for. The restaurants and shops at the V & A Waterfront were an easy 15min stroll. Security was excellent. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed 11 nights in pembroke and we were very happy with our choice of accommodation. They provide free pick up and drop off from and to the airport. The apartment was so spacious with large windows and two large balconies, one overlooks the marina and the other the canal and table mountain. The kitchen is well equipped with washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. They also provided free internet though it kept running out of data but they would top it up as soon as we informed them. It's a few minuets walk to all the restaurants and shopping.
So if you are looking for a spacious apartment in a good safe location and has great views than this is the perfect combination.

We stayed in Hellenslee on the 6th floor. The apartment was furnished with bright colours and quirky prints. Although the weather was not great the wide balcony with comfy cushions and couches is great for catching the sunset and even saw the seals playing in the harbor early one morning. The washer/ dryer is handy and the kitchen was well laid out. wifi is charged at R45/ day. The oven is tricky as all digital displays are in German! its an easy walk to and from the V&A/ clock tower. The bedroom on the road side is rather noisy but music drowns the noise at night. Lovely views of table mountain and signal hill from the kitchen. Canal boat leaves from the One & Only hotel opposite.

Very nice apartment perfect for me and my family. Location also perfect for us.

Only one thing that we felt was strange that one day we did not leave tip for housekeeping so they did not put fresh towels so the next day I left tip for 3 days and extra towels were put.
