Such a prime spot in Cape Town. Has a city feeling and spectacular hospitality and views. I highly recommend it for long stays. I especially loved how it was walking distance from the best streets in the city center, with stunning restaurants.

Stayed at the Cape Diamond Hotel for 2 weeks for work. Location was perfect for proximity to city centre, restaurants and access to the promenade. Staff is friendly and willing to help. Added bonus is the rooftop with amazing views of Table Mountain during the day and night.

Diamond is the right word for this hotel. It's a gem. In the heart of Cape Town. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms with a comfortable bed. Attention to detail in the rooms. A rooftop bar for a fabulous view. Off-street parking if arranged ahead. Luxury while being in the middle of a bustling city.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Cape Diamond in August. The central location made exploring the city convenient, with the bars and restaurants of Bree and Long Street within walking distance. A highlight for me was the rooftop bar, providing a stunning view of Table Mountain, Lions Head and Devil's Peak – a truly captivating sight, especially at sunset. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and my room was clean and comfortable. If you're looking for an authentic Cape Town experience, this hotel is a solid choice.

We booked Cape Diamond Hotel only to find that the hotel was not suitable for our group. The hotel manager assured that they would credit us upon our cancellation, which to date we are still waiting for our refund. It is not in the best location, because of the noise level due to surrounding night life. Be sure that you are happy before paying, as they will not refund you when cancelling.
