I wouldn't rate any less, we had a a lot of challenges and the stress to get there through planning was difficult but the way we were acknowledged treated was absolutely amazing. Ashley was amazing and the hospitality left me and my soccer academy so happy. I wouldn't book anywhere else not only the service but the facility and the location. The winners stop should be the nickname. We thank the staff and the Ashley for an amazing break.

Absolute well organised, friendly staff and a great location. This accomodation is far better than just a Backpacker Hostel. I will definetly visit again. You'll find a pool, bar, kitchen, living room and excellent sanitary rooms, it does not really matter if on-suite or not.

Great spot that’s on a bit of a backpackers highway. The bars great for a nice private time, very relaxed, whilst it was easy to access all the other spots. Right between Sea Point and Green Point and right across from the park. Definitely suggest this spot if you like having a little down time between all the fun.

Excellent accommodation. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The beds are more comfortable than most hotels I've been to. It's quiet during the night and there is no loud music or commotion during the night. Would definitely book here again.

Well for one, my booking said 1 person in "6-bed mixed dorm". I got moved from a 10-bed dorm(room 7) into a filthy pig sty-type 8-bed dorm(room 5) and the junky dweeb at reception (let's call him Jonathan) had the audacity to blame me for that shift, when it was one of Sunflower's staff members who had asked me to move into the 8-bed dorm the previous night. If a 6-bed mixed dorm is unavailable for booking, then tell Agoda to stop advertising it as open on their platform, better yet sever ties with Agoda. At certain times only a certain dorm is available for booking, so it's senseless that the only dorm available at the time of the booking was a 6-bed dorm and I get to be moved to an 8-bed dorm. I instantly opted to check-out and was reimbursed for the 13th of April. A whole lot of stuff has been going on at Sunflower stop, like phones disappearing from the laundromat, guests' food going missing from the kitchen shelves, people getting caught drugged up passed out in the shower for more than 3 hours, the list goes on and on and all fingers point to management. Please keep up the watered down service and rational people of colour will find elsewhere to stay "JUST HOW YOU WANT IT"…

Bunks were not that good, mainly due to the noisy metal ones. For the rest, great. Atmosphere was very nice and the staff super helpful and kind. I heard someone complaining that the private rooms had too thin walls and you could hear the snoring from the neighbors.
