As always the oyster collection does not fail to impress. Amazing, kind and near telepathic staff make the stay a break worth taking. Allowing true and pure relaxation. Great food and beautiful rooms. I had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning as soon as possible. 5/5

Who knew this little gem was just off Glengariff Road in Seapoint. Great Location - short stroll to promenade and shops. My room had a lovely sun terrace and was very well appointed. Great lounge and bar area to relax in. Amazing service - we were very well taken care of by very attentive staff. Only place I will stay when in town now....

The rooms are great, the hotel is cute and cozy with wood burning stoves and incredibly nice staff. The hotel is small but feels like home with welcoming vibes, nice rooms, and a more B and B feeling than a lodge.... the breakfast is great and the location is perfect to explore Cape Town and walk on the waterfront. Karin the manager runs an incredibly tight ship with great hospitality.

We had an excellent stay at The Blackheath Lodge. The staff was engaging, professional, hospitable and maintained great communication before and during our stay. They also made delicious cakes! The lodge itself was clean, elegant, cozy, and perfectly located in Cape Town. We were very well taken care of and felt at ease even in the height of Covid-19. Highly recommended.

This place is the perfect combination of complete professionalism while making a guest also feel at home. The staff was amazing and so welcoming. Karin and Riano are the best and all the other hotel employees as well. The property is beautiful and somehow grand and cozy at the same time. The owners have done a great job with decorating. The location was also perfect for us. They are very covid safe and give great recommendations with both fun and safety in mind. Also the bed and pillows were very comfortable which is super important to me. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We stayed 5 nights and would love to go back. My younger daughter said that she wishes we could take it with us all over South Africa and I agree!
