We’ve just left Lezard Bleu for the third time, and are already excited about our next visit, either next year or the year after. Lezard Bleu is located in a lovely quiet and safe area of Cape Town, Orangzicht, but yet is only 5 minutes drive from the centre of town. The owners, Chris and Niki go out of their way to make you feel welcome and part of the family, and are assisted by the amazing Lizzie and her team. Chris produces an amazing buffet for breakfast, with eggs and veggies to order. He also accommodates my somewhat complicated diet! We stayed again in the Treehouse, which has spectacular views over towards the waterfront from one window, and across to the base of Table Mountain from the other. We feel so relaxed and well taken care of at Lezard Bleu, and we highly recommend it to everyone.

We have stayed here on several occasions and love the place. Chris the owner is a really nice laid back chap and Lizzy and her team are so friendly that you really do feel at home. If you are lucky enough to book the tree house you won’t be disappointed

We stayed here with 4 adults and 1 child. My brother was in the pool room: massive room with 2 big beds, great for a family. We were in the tree house. We enjoyed our stay with the following high lights - great hostess who made wonderful breakfasts. A lot of fresh fruit, meat, cheeses ... good coffee. - comfortable rooms with big bathroom and coffee station - big pool ( cold water though) - great location, right underneath table Mountain and near buzzing Kloof street 2 comments - rooms/ stairs etc need a spruce up. The walkway to tree house is in desperate need of a lick of paint and our room, whilst big, had rather old fashioned decor, - The tree house is above the owners home. They tried to keep noise down but we could hear them chatting outside each night. It was not the secluded tranquil tree house experience I had hoped for

We stayed at Lezard Bleu last week for the second time. This time we stayed in the Tree House which we can highly recommend. Chris and Nikki are fantastic hosts, assisted by the amazing Lizzie. Chris even bought in specially extra things for my breakfast as I have a somewhat complicated diet - thanks Chris. We will be back soon!!

Mieux vaut tard que jamais : thank you very much Chris and all the Bleu Lezard team for our wonderful stay in August. Being friendly, helpful, careful with all the guests create a very nice atmosphere where you feel at home and where travelers can meet and chat around the wood-fire in the living room. About the guesthouse : the place is confortable and decorated with great taste and the breakfast… well, looking at the other comments it’s said to be the best in Cape town ! And we won't disagree :) Thank you Chris for helping us planning our short stay in Capetown and finding us a rental car to visit the city and go to Cape point with nice things to see and places to eat along the way. And thank you for the nice and interesting talk while we waited our ride to the airport. See you next time in Cape town ! Cheers, Alix & Olivier
