Whether you are a first time visitor to Cape Town, or returning to this glorious city, there's no better place to feel at home than Rosedene Guest House in the Gardens. The fantastic staff will welcome you, anticipate your needs, and ensure you have a fantastic visit. From the smell of freshly baked croissants each morning to the depth of knowledge about everything from nightclubs to avoiding baboons, Rosedene is a beautiful home in Cape Town. Convenient to downtown, at the foot of Table Mountain.

We looked at several web sites and properties before selecting Rosedene in Cape Town. We ended up in room 6, with a view overlooking the pool, and Table Mountain. The property is located on a cul de sac on Upper Kloof street. The location makes this B&B close to the city/activities and Table Mountain, yet quite since there is virtually no traffic on the street. So if you are looking for something close, yet quite, you should seriously consider Rosedene. We were in Cape Town in the low season, and taking advantage of what their web site said [--] about the off season, we asked for a discounted rate. They did grant us a discount and we booked with them. Carolina (one of the two primary managers) was truly exceptional. We called from JNB airport, and she immediately

My six year old son and I stayed here for three nights in Oct, and found it to be a very comfortable guesthouse. It is conveniently located in Upper Kloof street, near excellent cafe's and restaurants. We stayed in room 11, which was large and beautifully decorated, with a view of the mountain. When you book book do ask for a room with a view on the top floor. The staff where so helpful, warm, friendly and professional. The breakfasts where wonderful, fresh and substantial. The decor is great, there are places to sit (or lounge) and a pool. I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone. The owners are lovely. It is a classy establishment that still feels warm and friendly. We felt truely welcome
