This guesthouse will make you feel at home in Cape Town. Very friendly people, nice garden with several places to sit and chat. Guesthouse and rooms nicely decorated. Very good breakfast with lots of fresh fruit. Just a few steps to good restaurants. The street is very quit as it is almost at the end of a dead-end street. You will enjoy the views and the sound of birds, in the middle of the town! Also advisable for younger people. Will come back here again and again, if I can.

Lovely venue, all amenities, and wonderful to have business meeting in the garden. Birds chirping around is a great stress reducing environment. Should have taken pictures for the experience. Parking no problem which for the area was a relief.

We had a wonderful stay here at rosedene guest house. The staff are extremely friendly with great recommendations and the street is very quiet. The cottages are beautifully decorated and have a great rustic feel to it. The breakfast is outstanding and has a wonderful range of food. The owners and staff are so welcoming and make it an absolute pleasure to stay here. We have an absolutely amazing view of table mountain and can sit outside and enjoy the view. There is a fantastic garden which looks stunning and has a small pool to cool off or get your day started. All in all I think this is an unique and individual guest house and there is nothing else like it. I have fallen in love with it and I’m sure you will to.

We booked cottage 24 for our family of 4 (2 teens); based on the glowing reviews. Our impression of the cottage is that is should be rated as a 3 star. For a similar price range, we stayed at 2 other places in the Cape during the same holiday which were by FAR superior. PROS : very centrally located; nice view of Table Mountain from the outside lounge area; beautiful garden filled withe avocado and lemon trees; cosy pool area; friendly staff member arranged a birthday cupcake and the staff sang to my teen; they arranged special halaal meat for breakfast; good breakfast; rooms clean and neat CONS : parking outside the building only; our bedroom window next to busy road and speedsters flying over speed bumps all hours off the night; main toilet door kept getting stuck; no

Dear Mrs Younis. Thank you for staying with us and thank you for your comments. We appreciate all feedback as it allows us to go the extra mile and take care of any maintenance issues that may arise. The cottages are heritage and as such, undoubtedly have a few idiosyncrasies for a century old building, however we will endeavour to attend to the other points you raised. Kind Regards, Rosedene Management.
