Location is great- few minutes from the beach, shops and restaurants. Our room was big and was very clean with a shower and toilet also very clean. Air con, little fridge, coffee machine in the room with coffee pods. Fresh water and wine - complimentary from our host! Even ouma's rusks for a morning snack. All the little details made us feel really looked after! Fully recommend Anchor bay guest house. And also there is free wifi. Our host Burt was very helpful with regards to sightseeing, gave us maps and other tips - made our trip so much better. Gust house is also very safe and quiet. And also 10-15 minutes by uber to waterfront. Cannot praise it enough. Many thanks Burt again😁👍

Burt and Bev are super nice hosts. Burt gave us a great overview of cape town and recommendations for restaurants and beaches when we arrived. He was very helpful and always available. The rooms are nicely furnished and very clean. The shared terrace and living room are perfect to start the day with a cup of tea or coffee. The house is located in a very safe area. I would definitely stay again at the Anchor Bay Guest House.

I don't have one bad thing to say about this Guest house, everything is spot on and our room was perfect, clean and had everything you could possibly want/need: Tea, coffee, rusks, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, wine!! The owner Burt is unbelievably friendly and helpful. He even provided us with a socket to use to charge our phones etc.. He rang our pizza order for us and gave us cutlery and plates. There is a communal lounge area with TV and extra tea, coffee and wine, should you need more and a shared balcony too The Guest house is around 20-30 minutes walking distance to V&A waterfront, or 5 minutes on a bus. Also the hop on hop off bus stop is only a short walk away. We went to Booklegger 3 times for breakfast as it's not too far away and really good. We felt really safe walking around this area and would love to stay again one day!

Bert and wife deliver the perfect stay. With a great location and lovely hosts, this place has everything to create a happy memorable vacation. The rooms (suite) were impecable made;own mini refrigerator (free white wine in) and espresso machine (coffee provided free of charge), great shower with its own hair dryer. The guest house has a common area: living room with TV, minibar (free wine and cash beer) and espresso machine and also a balcony, however we very much enjoyed our private balcony, where we could sip on our wine (provided and replaced free of charge) appreciating the beautiful view of Capetown. Adorable Alice and Angela were in charge of cleaning the amenities;great job! Owner very helpful with tips for place to eat, services to use and where to go. Super recommend!
