This was our last stop in South Africa before heading home. 2 weeks travelling along the Garden Route and we were chilled and relaxed so it was a good thing that Kensington Place maintained the feel good factor right up to our departure with their eye for detail and attentive staff. It was greatly appreciated that they made reservations for...

From the moment we stepped in to the property we knew that we had chosen well. The hotel is is in a quiet residential area but within a few short minutes walk the are lovely restaurants and bars The staff could not have been more accommodating and we appreciated the pre-bookings for dinner that had already been made which were...

Our four nights in this lovely guest house were perfect! The welcome from the staff was was an indication of how well run this establishment is. Every detail was attended to efficiently and they went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable. It proved to be an excellent base for exploring the sights of Cape Town without being in...

Good location essentially at the top of Kloof Street. We typically walked down and got a taxi back up the hill. However, make sure you have the right change for taxi drivers as they tend to claim that they have no change. The room was excellent in every way The staff were friendly and helpful. Simon was particularly so following...

We stayed at Kensington Place for 3 days while we were in Cape Town for our honeymoon. It was a very nice, chic hotel with very personalized service. The room was a great size with good view of table mountain and modern design. The food was very good and the service was excellent. They made us reservations for some great...

A nice quiet location, superb rooms, friendly/attentive staff (smiling Simon was a particular favourite of ours), great breakfasts. No request was too much. The pre-booked us a different restaurant for each night of our stay (this was a small, but very appreciated, thing to do), they gave advise of where to visit, booked us tickets to avoid queues. The rooms...

We spent the first night of our Honeymoon here and it was truly perfect - stylishly contemporary and super chic. We loved relaxing by the pool after flying in from the UK and it's an easy walk to the cafes, shops and restaurants on Kloof Street. The staff were absolutely charming and so helpful - nothing was too much trouble....

I have stayed at this Cape Town B&B twice, and both times came away excited for my next visit. The setting, high up Table Mountain, offers beautiful views in a safe and interesting neighborhood. You feel like a local staying there. The staff go out of their way to help you explore Cape Town - they recommend restaurants and make...

Started a 3 week trip to South Africa here, and it couldn't have been a better gateway. After 30 hours of travel, from Los Angeles, we were greeted with enormous charm and champagne by one of the managers, Hope -- our room was ready, as was a carefully curated list of restaurant bookings. That attention to detail and above and...
