My sons and I decided to spend our last night together as a family before my eldest son's wedding day. We wanted one room. The staff was so wonderful. They sent as breakfast to our room while we were getting ready. I will most definitely go there again.

We stayed at the now Innscape Classic (Formerly to New Tulbagh) back in 2020 just before the pandemic and had a wonderful experience. There isn’t a wonderful lady called Yolanda who dealt with my booking back in 2020 and also in this trip and she couldn’t be anymore helpful. Anything we have asked she has sorted for us, nothing is ever too much trouble. The same goes for the rest of the staff on reception and in the restaurant. The rooms are lovely and spacious and always super clean with daily cleaning of the rooms if you request. We needed a fridge in out room as we stayed nearly a month in both trips and they put one in our room for us. The breakfast starts nice and early and has a wide range of items from local breakfast items to your classic full English breakfast. Let’s talk about location. This hotel is perfect as it’s slap bang in the city but walking distance to the waterfront and Green Point if you want a leisurely walk if the weather is nice. The price on the rooms are always very good and we will definitely end back next year. As you can tell I can’t recommended this hotel enough.

Descent room for the cost. Room was large and bedding was clean. There was no bar fridge in the room. If you book directly breakfast is included. The discounted prices advertised does not include breakfast. Note that there is no secure parking

One is forced to pay for overnight car parking that is normal in Cape town, but at this hotel one pays before even leaving your vehicle, breakfast is served in the room on a plate with eggs, and pastry all on same plates, they blame Covid but hotels and restaurants are allowed 50% occupancy and they not close to 50%. Its a poorly managed , Hair was still in the showers i am bald so definitely not mine.

The pictures of this hotel is deceiving to say the least. The actual hotel looks run down and dirty. Room service does not know or care enough to do a proper job of cleaning. Over and above that, the parking is terrible, we felt very unsafe and did not want to leave our car there but had no choice. Pastries at breakfast are stale, bacon swimming in oil. Cape Town is such a beautiful city and has so many better hotels to offer. Stay away from this one!!

This is not my first visit to this hotel and won't be my last. They had a few snags but I suppose it's due to the lockdown and staff probably forgot the basics... The TV Did didn't work and there was only 1 towel. then I asked for it to be checked upon going out, 6 hours later after returning it still wasn't done and the excuse given was we didn't want to go in your room! then when it was eventually swopped with another TV we were left watching the poorest quality picture ever.... the coffee cups were chipped as well.

The hotel had reopened for people taking UK repatriation flights back to the UK so it is unfair to be too critical as it was offering a skeleton service. The hotel was still pretty much locked down so bar, restaurant etc were closed and meals were left outside bedroom doors. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and beds very comfortable. However there was no excuse for the quality of the dinner - steak so tough it was uneatable and warmed up over cooked fish, no starter or dessert. Very bad value for R250. We were told at reception when we booked in we could order a simple breakfast which we did but in the morning there was none and the kitchen closed. They could have done better with very little effort.

We stayed for just one night. Unfortunately there was no wi-fi in our room, and they also had a burst geyser, so no hot water in the morning. However, the staff handled this all very professionally, and the lady in the restaurant also made the effort to apologise for the water situation. Had the staff not been so helpful, I would not have had a great stay!
