My stay was a very good one. I was surprised by by the excellent conditions of the Hotel Everybody is very professional, and very preoccupied in making everything smooth for the client. I am sure I'll come back one day.
This is a small, neat, basic hotel in the heart of Cape Town. My room was large, clean - and had everything you would expect from a 3 star hotel - at an excellent price. The breakfast is fine - if you wish, you can have a freshly cooked meal of eggs, bacon, tomato etc, which is supplemented by a small but adequate buffet. The coffee is very good. A special mention of the staff - everyone is friendly and very helpful. They are doing a great job and made my stay even nicer.
Same spacious, comfortable room we had the first time we visited! Very welcoming staff, very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Wide comfortable bed. We love the breakfasts and looked forward to them every morning. Hotel is conveniently placed to allow touring the city centre by foot thereby being a real part of the vibrant community - the market stalls, shops and restaurants.
Parliament hotel is a good little hotel and does what's advertised. The front desk fellow was very helpful and efficient, and showed me to my room enthusiastically. The room itself was spotless, with clean, expensive sheets. The bathroom was large. The tables etc were very cheap, but you don't expect teak for the price that you're paying. The place is very well located, and for the price (compared to other places in the hood) I thought it was great value for money.
Good stay at Parliament Hotel. Easy parking (you have to pay extra). Only «complain» was the A/C which was very loud (probably needed some repair). Friendly staff. OK location. All in all a good alternative if you want to stay in the city centre.
