Two irritating aspects (that you can do little about) was the small hand wash basin and the bathroom door that you have to close to enter or exit the room. Another somewhat negative thing was the noise from the street at night. Sleep quality was great as the mattress was a joy to sleep on. The staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast great. The Italian supper very good. First ever authentic Italian restaurant that I've experienced. The safe parking of car in garage gave peace of mind. My week visit was for research purposes and hotel close to Archives and Deeds Office.
I am very impressed with the accommodation at the Parliament Hotel. The suite is well equipped with all the necessary amenities. That is, courtesy coffee/tea in each room; flat screen TV with DSTV; good Wi-Fi reception; very comfortable bed with an extra blanket in case it’s gets a bit chilly at night; angled night lamps on each side of the Queen sized bed; each room is equipped with an air-conditioning unit especially for those hot summery Cape Town nights; quality toiletries in the bathroom which is also equipped with a turbo hairdryer; I especially loved the mirror which has LED lights installed behind the glass panel; they have safe, secure parking available; the staff is very friendly and so accommodating and they are available to assist 24/7 with queries even after hours;…
A perfect place for a business trip, very central. The hotel staff were amazing and very friendly. Room was clean and neat , breakfast was really awesome. I will definitely stay here again, and will recommend to my colleagues as well.
The hotel is located centrally close to shops and restaurants with plenty of choice. The room was spacious and had comfortable bed. Shower takes some getting used to as it either gets too hot or too cold so that was bit of a struggle. The hotel is opposite student accommodation which can be bit noisy at night but it was not a major issue. Breakfast was decent and made to order. The staff were very friendly and always eager to help. Would happily recommend.
The rooms were very nice and clean. Breakfast is from 7a-10am and they serve a variety of foods before you start your day. There is one computer in the lobby. Reception in the rooms are not that good. The front desk staff were very friendly and informative. There are stores nearby but I wouldn't go out after 8pm alone or otherwise. There were some homeless people sleeping nearby as I walked to District Six Museum. It's kind of noisy at night if your window is open. Other than that, I had an awesome time at this facility.
