The room was extremely nice and the hotel is comfortable and very clean. They exceeded all of our expectations. But their shining stars are the lovely staff who serve you in the reception, in the hallways, in the rooms, and in the restaurant and bar. I want to thank Carol, in the restaurant especially for five star treatment and her warm hospitality! Also her fellow staff whose names we did not learn. We highly recommend this hotel!

Great location, a short walk to the Waterfront. Rooms were large with UK and SA plug sockets and a desk for me to work. The bathroom had double sinks and had a separate bath and shower. The toilet was also through a separate frosted glass door. The gym is well stocked and open 24hrs, and had great views from the 19th floor. The reception staff were friendly and helpful especially Sive who was a trainee, she helped me a lot during the week when I needed assistance nothing was too much bother. Overall it was a great stay, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cape Town whether for business or pleasure.

Really enjoyed the stay here - lovely property and staff. As a titanium member I used a SNA, to a executive suite and also really enjoyed the lounge and pool facilities. The main issue was being told to check out at 11:30 and denied the guaranteed 4pm check out. In the end we had to be moved to a basic room which was an inconvenience swap and a disappointment after using a credit to upgrade the room. Just be aware if you are expecting the late check out.

Excellent hotel in Cape Town; conveniently located to convention center and other attractions. Excellent service (thank you Noncebo, Sisipho, Israel, Charles (bellman), Yolanda (best housekeeper EVER!)) and very clean and well-maintained property. Food was generally good from in-room dining, though app could use enhancement to allow modifications and to add non-alcholic drinks. Service was super timely (always within 20-30 min). Food during our meeting was mediocre, which was surprising. Meeting rooms were well-appointed but lacking daylight. This is very much a conference/business hotel but would be fine for leisure travelers as well.

Really nice hotel in the centre of Cape Town. Short walk to V&A, or the red tourist bus and boat pass by close. Food is nice rather than exceptional, but it’s an hotel…. Room spotlessly clean and comfortable. Odd that you cannot direct dial from your room, but need to pass the switchboard. All staff we dealt with very very friendly and accommodating, a couple of names to mention, Michael as duty manager was excellent in arranging dental and medical attention, and Obe, the waiter in the dining room has great potential. As a relatively new start, he keeps himself busy without direction and has great confidence in his communication with guests. If this young man was on a Trainee Manager programme, he will easily repay the investment! Well done to Obe!

Should be a negative 5. The Westin Hotel , rooms and desk staff are lovely and accommodating Location is great. Spa luxurious! HOWEVER…. The evening management of the restaurant is the worst in the world! I’ve been a guest of this hotel multiple times. I usually arrive after a 14+ hour flight, shower and just want a quick yet elegant dinner. The hotel Restaurant is usually empty in the evening…even when the hotel is full of conventioneers for a reason. The hostess greets one insisting that they choose from the buffet. A menu will reluctantly given after much insistence which is usually a 40 minute ordeal. Cold (yet beautifully plated ) food may arrive 2 hours after finally ordering; only to be sent back to be warmed to room temperature. Suspect something happens between the time the chef plates the food and the server delivers it … perhaps an hour delay? Very strange for a restaurant with few customers nd a healthy number of staff. This has been a typical occurrence for 3 different dining experiences at this restaurant. Stay away if you’re looking for a relaxing meal after a busy day! Breakfast is another story ….. friendly with efficient and friendly service. Breakfast time is always busy unlike dinner. Makes one wonder if there’s something terribly wrong with the night management?

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. We loved the size and cleanliness of the room. The concierge gave us wonderful recommendation, made bookings for us. The breakfast at this hotel was OUTSTANDING! There were ample hot offerings, made-to-order eggs/omelets, and the service was stellar. I saw some previous reviews complaining about breakfast and service. Either these issues have been corrected, or the other reviewers were too critical. We HIGHLY recommend this hotel for your time in Cape Town.

I stayed here between 17-31 Jan 2024, and loved it! I arrived early in the day following an overnight flight but the receptionist went out of her way to find me an available room. The room was spacious and comfy, the restaurants and bars fantastic and the staff, all of them, friendly and approachable.
