Brilliant room, clean, bright and comfy bed. Bar staff were exceptional, remembered me from day to day (which is increasingly rare) and remembered my coffee order. The one point I will highlight is the fact that my boss had arrived a day early, I had prepaid for his night as I had booked us 2 rooms for when I had arrived and check-in had no idea of his booking upon him checking in and was confused about the situation. i had specifically communicated with the hotel prior to arriving to sort this out, Overall, good hotel, location isnt ideal but if you are staying here, youll be their for the convention center.
Perfect for Cape Town. Very nice hotel with great service and spacious rooms. Very nice gym and indoor pool. Breakfast restaurant was ok and the service a bit slow but overall it was a good experience. It’s close to the waterfront and can be a good location to stay and access all over Cape Town
Just returned from a work trip. We stayed for 4 nights at Westin and all I have to say is well done to everyone working at the hotel. Definitely the best hospitality I have ever had. Thank you everyone for making our stay memorable. I am sure it wasn’t easy to handle such a large group of people but you all did a phenomenal job.
My husband was taking place in the two. Oceans marathon so we stayed at Westin for two nights.Clarissa at front desk was amazing and the lady in the breakfast restaurant,Gonzo was her last name..will definitely return
Loved everything about this hotel, nice size and most comfortable bed. I appreciated the attention to detail, the cleanliness, the luxury. Breakfast was fresh and included a wide variety. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.
We just returned from a 3 week vacation in Cape Town and have to say this hotel is best in class and service. From the moment we entered the hotel to the time we departed, we were treated as honored guests. The staff members are to be lauded for their hospitality and kindness and are happily there and readily available to meet your every need. The hotel is also spotlessly keen, is fantastically positioned and the food is fabulous. In short, we cannot wait to return to this fantastic hotel with its outstanding people!
Not perfect but we found the service excellent, the facilities excellent and all round a lovely place to stay. The negative reviews do not resonate with us because everyone was super helpful and polite. Pools were just right for the number of guests using them. The breakfasts were fabulous (best I’ve had for choice and quality) and even the basic evening meal was tasty and good value for this type of hotel. It looks a little dated (quite brown!) but the big volumes and floor to ceilings windows made it pleasant in the commons areas and rooms. Just need to get the breakfast egg orders more efficient. Poor people wandering up and down to find who to deliver the eggs to! I agree with another reviewer a bigger cup in the rooms would be a slight improvement. Would definitely choose here if in Cape Town again.…
I love this hotel because it is central and offers the best location to explore Cape Town and surrounding areas. They have very professional friendly staff, clean modern rooms, comfortable accommodation, great gym, spa and dining facilities.
We went for a coffee and meal at The Westin after attending the Investec Art Fair and loved the relaxing aura in the hotel. We would recommend the squid with pickled onion and sliced gherkins that was tremendous!
Excellent hotel for families . We stayed for 6 nights and it was perfect for us. They even gave me balloons, a cake and a card for my birthday. We ordered ALOT of room service, used the pool, ate in the restaurant and had drinks at the bar. Funny story.. I ordered coffee with Baileys and the server gave me coffee with Bay leaves. It was so funny and every time he saw me, he said ‘no more Bay leaves’
