Set in a mainly residential area with limited facilities around therefore you tended to be a captive audience. The reception staff also advised against walking in the area as in previous weeks guests had been mugged. However despite this, the hotel staff were friendly

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Cape Milner boutique hotel. Perfectly situated within a easy walking distance to all the bars, cafes, restaurants and retail therapy of Kloof Street and funky Long Street. An Uber fare to V & A Waterfront will only set you back 500 rand. The

Hello. The hotel is about 20-30 minutes from the airport. The Cape Milner Hotel (is a very nice hotel) arranged our private transfer (we were 4 friends) and we paid R340 for each transfer (it doesn't matter if you are one person, or four persons, the price is the same) from/to airport, to/from hotel and we paid at the reception for both transfers. You can send an e-mail to the hotel and they can arrange your transfer and they will tell you the price. Even at the airport, after your buggages collection, you have to walk a little bit, just before the exits of the arrivals' building, there are kiosks of transfer companies/taxis, around at the same price. Maybe you can find a cheaper price than R340 (hotel's price), because I didn't know how the taxis' drivers work there. But we took taxis many times in the city from/to hotel and it was safe. From the hotel you can ask at the reception to call a taxi for you and then you must ask the taxi driver about the price for the place you want to visit. Do the same (ask the taxi driver about the price) when you want to return to the hotel. You can negociate the taxi price in the city. If you want to change money, DON'T change at the area inside of buggages collection (very high commision), but just outside of this area on your left hand. It's aroud 70m from the exit of buggages' collection area (inside the building of arrivals).

"Get a room with a captivating view of Table Mountain"
"Room 405 is great. Some slight road noise but very spacious and nice. There’s a step into the bathroom which might not suit everyone."
"Book a room away from reception area or near the lift. Far too noisy. People far too inconsiderate. Bad design"
"Its not as rigid as some Hotels I've been to like The Bay Hotel is much more formal than this one which is nice."
"rooms 200-204 are excellent but affected by noise coming from the foyer below"
