Nice comfortable room with direct view of the Table Mountain; The pool sides were dirty and we were not keen at all to use the pool area due the lack of cleanliness; Overall service at the restaurant can be improved (a little smile from the team would be great)

Dear Kamal Thank you for taking the time to post this review. The leaves and berries which causes discolouration and staining at the pool area is an ongoing problem; more effort will be taken to ensure that the debris is swept and the pool is swept more often to improve the look and feel. Your feedback is welcomed and appreciated as we always want to improve our service and guests experiences.

Right from the check in to check out every moment spent in the property was heartwarming. The entire staff always greeted us with a smile and was courteous. as we were vegetarian, we had a special request for the breakfast the head chef ( I'm sorry don't recall her name ) may be Claire.. she was called and met us during our checkin. she noted every details and ensured we were served a different hot dish everyday in morning suiting our requirements. it was amazing. The over all breakfast spread was super i mean a lot of choices for non vegetarian specially and the quality of food used was super. we have never had such a wonderful experience earlier with any property. The property was upto the mark, clean and services prompt. We would rate this as a 5 Star property and nothing less. ample of parking space, a very safe locality, a mall just 2 blocks away made things easier. Wifi was excellent the room size is big enough. Highly recommended Indians and all tourists to book with them when in Capetown, they will exceed your expectations and make you feel delighted always. thanking the entire team once again and if we ever drop in Capetown, this will be the place we would lookforward to book again.

We stayed at the SunSquare Cape Town Gardens Hotel for several days at the end of a 3 week trip through South Africa. The hotel is very nice, but a car or taking an Uber is needed to get to restaurants or other tourist areas. Our room, 318, was located on the hotel's top floor. It was on the small side compared to other places we stayed at on our trip, but was very clean and modern. It had all the needed amenities such as a mini fridge, a safe, a hair dryer and a very comfortable queen bed. The room was clean and definitely modern. One great feature was the window view of Table Mountain. Perfect when the weather was clear. The breakfast buffet was perfect with a good variety of choices. We ate dinner in their restaurant several evenings, and while the menu was somewhat limited, it was reasonably priced and the food was good. Just a hint, the one local restaurant close by was Mai Thai. Give it a try if you don't want to eat at the hotel or head down town. Great food. At all times the service in the hotel restaurant and at the front desk was friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend the Sunsquare Gardens.

Perfectly placed hotel for our 5 days in Cape Town. getting about was really easy in Ubers that were so cheap . All staff were great but a special shout out to the reception staff who were so friendly and advisory. Cape Town is an amazing experience with big divides between wealth and beauty. You need to see as much as you can of the different ways of life here.

I can honestly say that I have never been this let down by a hotel. I stayed at this hotel every year until I turned 21 in 2017, which is when I stopped. This was a favourite of mine and my late father's that I had to stay this year. The hotel has the same appearance. Apart from removing the shower curtain, the hotel has not undergone any improvements. The refrigerator in the room I was staying in was functional but broken. The absence of cool air from the air conditioner made the space feel stuffy and warm. The fact that the pool has multiple levels should be disclosed. The breakfast was quite simple. When I asked the staff if they could fix the pancake maker because it wasn't working, they stated that only one particular staff member knew how to operate the device. The most frustrating part that occurred to me was being hassled by a hotel guest. We rode in the same elevator, and when we exited on the same floor, he began following me and interrogating me. He inquired about my room number and whether I was alone in it, among other things. He also suggested joining me in my room since he didn't want to spend the night alone. Even after I told him no, he persisted in bothering me until I offered him a fictitious room number. He was moving away in the opposite direction, so I quickly hurried back to my room and shut the door as soon as I felt secure.

Modern, safe, and comfortable. Excellent service, extremely clean. The bed linens were crisp and new. The room was quiet at night, especially with the windows closed. Breakfast was included in my package and provided as a huge and generous buffet with fresh eggs cooked to order — the fruit was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the laundry service was perfect. I stayed in room 106. No bath, and the shower leaked. Bring your own wash cloth and toiletries, they only provide soap and a combined shampoo/body wash. Signature scent is lemon verbena.

Got awful nights sleep both nights as the doors bang loudly and the walls are thin. The pool isn’t heated as they advise which was annoying as had chosen the hotel for that reason. Breakfast is good and hotel is modern and clean. Location ok if want to be between city and VnA. Views from some rooms and the pool area. Wouldn’t stay again due to noise
