Such a pity that this brilliantly located and attractive hotel had such poor service. The staff behind the counter at reception could not say what time our room would be ready if we wanted to check in earlier, the cleaning staff did not come to do house keeping until asked. Towels, coffee, water not replaced unless asked. We stayed in the 'loft' as 3 guests where we were given 2 mugs, 1 teaspoon, 1 butter knife, 2 bowls, no washing cloth or soap yet no one came to do the dishes. We had to ask for clean towels which was met with bad attitude.

Make sure to call ahead and confirm your room, although dont expect to be helped as I was told by the person who answered they did not know how to help me (despite me giving them my full booking details and confirmation), they promised to get someone to return the call. After waiting 2 days I eventually called back again and another staff member could not verify my booking or which room I would have again despite me offering them all my details.

All just such a pity as the venue itself and location are excellent, this could be a booming hotel if they just got the basics right but every staff member acted like they despised their job.

Location is great and the rooms are big! But I can’t say I would recommend it unless you are looking for basic accomodation on a tight budget and don’t want to go to a backpackers:
Issues below:
1. anyone enquiring to stay, do call the hotel and ask if construction is still happening next door. It’s 9pm and the workmen are still busy. It’s extremely loud and I was told second floor is quiet.
2. Not all rooms have smart TVs, the ones that do you need your own DSTV/Netflix login details
3. No milk in the rooms for tea and coffee
4. The plug points are far from the bed, so no choice but to move the bed if you need your phone/laptop plugged in
5. Hot water ran out
For the price I am sure you can find better in an Airbnb

Comfortable place in the heart of Sea Point. Spacious room. Right on Regent Road, with shops, bars and restaurants all around. Very conveniently located - a MyCiTi bus stop is a few metres away, the beach and Sea Point promenade are only a block away, Clifton and Camps Bay are nearby on one side, and the city centre is close on the other side. Friendly, helpful staff.
Wifi was ok but not fast. There were no extra blankets, nights can be a little chilly.

We arrived at the hotel for the last two nights of our stay in Cape Town on the Easter long weekend. We booked the split level studio apartment with balcony overlooking the street. Upon arrival we were given a very poor basic, first floor, flat level apartment that overlooked the car park and smells from the restaurant vents below. It had a window in the bedroom that overlooked an inner courtyard with public access so anyone could look in. The blinds from the kitchen were broken and the place was dark and dingy - we have stayed in better hostels. We talked to reception staff who were not helpful or apologetic of our concerns and advised that they would need to speak to the manager the following day to see if we could be moved. At the time of speaking to reception another gentleman came and complained that he did not have the correct room either, so we were not alone! We could only conclude that due to the Easter holidays and that we booked in advance and got a cheaper rate, that they moved us in favour of a higher price tag! We were so disappointed as we had been looking forward to our stay. We ended up leaving the hotel and going elsewhere. This maybe a good place to stay if what you book is what you get but buyer beware that you may not get this at this hotel as the pictures do not reflect the standard shown.

The rooms was very clean, bedding was in perfect condition. Staff friendly. Lift and rooms work with card, so excellent security. Coffee bar were stocked. We didn't need a thing.
It is about ten minutes from Cape Town's most popular destinations like the Cliftons, Camps Bay strip, Table Mountain, The V&A Waterfront and the Cape Town CBD.

A great place to stay in Sea Point. Great location with all that you need close to hand. Staff very friendly and very eager to please. But…..
Sorry, but nowadays some things are just taken as being there. The property advertises hi speed WiFi. Stop and start at best… in the rooms non existent. Please get this sorted.

I booked according to the photos on the website. Absolutely false advertising. Appalling. The furniture is damaged. Reception unprofessional. Insist on payment and could not even supply a 2-point charger. ‼️ spoke to the manager. Worst, is that he agrees with me regarding the standard. If I can, I will give this place a negative rating

Front office and cleaning staff great. Room very average. Area noisy, but super quirky area with great restaurants. How does the owner live with himself/herself. Jarryds restaurant was doing renovations morning until late evening. APPALLING!! As far as I’m concerned, I deserve two nights refund. Be warned!!!!!

Room is clean an tidy. Not the best furniture but for holiday purposes it is okay. No stove/hot plates provided for self catering. Our room (115) has a nice views (although small) of the Atlantic oceans.

But the best thing of the hotel is it's location in seapoint. In the middle of the huzz and buzz of the best restaurants - this hotel definitely checks this entertainment box!
