The rooms was very clean, bedding was in perfect condition. Staff friendly. Lift and rooms work with card, so excellent security. Coffee bar were stocked. We didn't need a thing. It is about ten minutes from Cape Town's most popular destinations like the Cliftons, Camps Bay strip, Table Mountain, The V&A Waterfront and the Cape Town CBD.

I don't understand how the Tourism Grading Association of S.A. ever gave it 3 stars. It's dirty ( bathroom was the worst). Their housekeeping department can't clean properly or make up a bed (bed looks like it was made up by my 7 year old), sheets changed only every 2 days & not daily, bedside rug never changed or washed in the 7 days I spent there. Furniture dirty and looks like it was borrowed from a garage sale (had to ask the maintenance guy/general manager/ receptionist (not really sure what he does or his name (No name tags on all their staff) to remove or change the occasional chairs. Only 1 light working ( had to call for this to be checked). Dustbin and lid broken. Only 1 iron available for us to use in the whole hotel, you go down to reception to get it and when done, go down again to return it. For 7 days we had to do this. I could write an essay about my 7 day stay here...Horrible place. I stayed in room 310.

This place needs to be deep-cleaned! The dining chairs were filthy, the ceiling had 'stuff' on it, the mattress cover had stains, the bed was like a bucket, the tiles in the bath/shower need a steamclean, even the back of the couches in the reception area were dirty. We realised that its a budget hotel but there's no need to expect guests to pay for this.
