What is not to like? This is THE most gorgeous(no wonder they have "gorgeous" in their title/!) design heaven hotel(the interiors are drool worthy!) with the most beautiful rooms / restaurant and roof top. The staff is just amazing and EVERY single staff member was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We cannot wait to go back to the Gorgeous George and especially in summer when we can enjoy a drink on the rooftop. Just a spectacular spot that every one should experience when in Cape Town!!!

We were charged a R400.00 fee for 4 people to make a Booking at Gigi’s rooftop Bar. On Paying the bill after dinner. There was no refund of the R400.00 This is fault of the Management for not having a System in Place. The venue,Food an Ambiance was top class to be let down by a refund system that does not exist.Shame on You.

We arrived here for a table booked between 4-6, everything was rather pleasant until at 5:20 we were told that there is a private function booked at 6pm and that we couldn't order anything else, not even a bottle that takes 2min to open. Needless to say, we pretty much departed immediately and went to another venue. If we'd been told about this before we arrived, we could have re-booked or adapted our evening. Poor organisation led to unsatisfactory experience. I'll also mention that the waitress was very good, she did her job to a high standard, but sadly was let down by her management. I hope nobody else has the same experience.

We loved the appreciative, fun and happy welcome from the street, then the friendly, flexible, informative staff at the restaurant. My food - hake was yummy. I really liked was the setting - the art and design, plus the views over central Cape Town's rooftops and Greenmarket Square. There was a good vibe, despite covid19. I'm looking forward to going back.
