Detailed Reviews
Sometimes its very difficult to get simple things right, but this hotel gets it (mostly). rooms are small, clean and comfortable - but perfect for one person. Nice big window with great views so that you don't feel claustrophobic. Bathroom is compact as well with a great shower (and no dreaded curtains) - centrally located in a peaceful corner of the city, with takeaways close by - easy and safe walk to the Waterfront as well. Staff are friendly but seem preoccupied with whatever is happening in the back room. I wasn't informed about the breakfast for example, or the vending machines, etc.

I was traveling solo for a week to Cape Town and therefore I chose Stay Easy since it was not too expensive and still at the centre of the city. Just 5mins of the hotel was the city sightseeing office and bus stop where I took the red bus city sightseeing. I was glad since I could go there easily, and also any red bus form the waterfront would pass there. So, pick up and drop off was easy. I also took Uber from and to the hotel to V&A Waterfront and Canal Walk. Also, along the long street, there were lots of resto/pubs. Another 10 mins to the hotel would bring me to the shopping places like Woolworths, Edgars, Mr Price etc. Pick and Pay also was there.
So, safety wise, location wise, the hotel was good.
The staff also were courteous and helpful. The room was comfortable and was cleaned everyday.
Breakfast was good, though it was more or less the same daily.
Overall, Cape Town was a lovely city and I had a good time there. I will definitely recommend the hotel to family and friends.

The overall experience was below average. Despite positive reviews online, the service received was abominable. Poor attention to detail (had to phone every day to have fresh towels brought to the room or even ask for house keeping to clean my room) expands across the hotel services. Beyond limited breakfast selection is appalling. Location is great but the hotel is beyond average for its association to the Tsogo Sun brand. Staff were disinterested and made no effort beyond what they needed to. Disappointing to say the least.

The hotel should give lotions/creams in rooms. A designated smoking area should be created within the hotel, because going out the hotel every time is a mission...the chefs at breakfast should be at authority to make us any eggs we want, and not just say "all we make is scrambled eggs" because quite frankly, not everyone eats scrambled eggs

Good lcental location within 25 minutes walk or a 50rand taxi ride to the V & A Waterfront. Check in for a large group is a shambles and many rooms not available on time. The room was small, some might say cosy, but nonetheless comfortable. The double bed was on the small side!
The buffet breakfast was okay, with only scrambled eggs on offer, On the top flooir the bar, which is accessed by the adjoining sister hotel, is overlooking the city of Cape Town with views of Table Mountain and the Waterfront and to be honest was the highlight!

+1
The Stay Easy City Bowl, a centrally located three-star hotel in the CBD, offers a clean and comfortable room. Rooms are smaller than average that may limit movement and storage for more then one piece of luggage.I stayed on the 15th floor, I was treated to exceptional views daily!
The room rate included breakfast, though the offering was basic, it lacked variety. Incorporating some changes to the daily baked goods could significantly enhance the meal.
Guests are encouraged to utilize the pool facilities at the neighboring hotel, a requirement that does not prove to be inconvenient. This area also served as a viewing deck for NYE fireworks for both hotels' guests.
The receptionist who assisted with my check-in was truly awesome! He was welcoming and helpful.

The hotel is centrally located, so it is easy to get to shopping malls, restaurants, etc. Breakfast was very good, with a healthy variety; the staff can be a bit of a bother when clearing tables during breakfast. The staff at the front desk need to be more attentive to guests' enquiries. Housekeeping are a little stingy with toiletries. Overall, my stay was good; I would recommend this hotel to friends or family.

This hotel was very very good. We stayed for 3 nights and the room was clean and shower was probably one of the best ones we had during our 3 week trip. Th ebed was a bit small but overall it was good. This was the ONLY place we stayed throughout our 3 weeks that even remotely tried to change up breakfast which I wish was done elsewhere. 3 weeks of eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, yogurt, granola and fruit got super tiring and this hotel was the only one to try stir fry and other meats. We arrived past midnight for check-in from a late flight and I was worried we would not be let in but security and front desk found us quickly outside and were super accommodating. Only thing that caught us off guard was a small facility.washroom charge when we checked out. If this was more explicit then we would don't be caught off guard.

I am in Cape Town for a conference and unable to stay at the hotel of my choice as they are fully booked.
At the stay easy it’s been one disappointment after another since first contact.
I was checked into a single room despite booking a double. The bed was so small I literally fell off with a single turn. Trust me the beds are that small. If you are over 5ft7 this is not a place for you.
After putting in a complaint the next day I was moved to the double, here the sink was clogged and despite my requests was never fixed.
No international Tv news channels were on offer. When prompted the reception said they would sort it out and never did. I received a similar response when I asked for a shower cap.
At the Stay Easy you’ll be lucky if your call to the switch board is picked up. I never experienced that.
The receptionist when we arrived was brutally honest, yes we know you booked a double but we are putting you into a single call your booking office, this happens all the time. The gym is not worth using, the pool is a pond. All true I must say. One thing one must note is that the pool and gum are not at the StayEasy but the building next door so you’ll need to leg it out of your hotel to the one next door.
Finally please don’t use the vending machine I’ve lost money to it. It first work and the hotel does not have a sign to reflect that, though the door man seemed very apologetic when you don’t receive what you’ve paid for…..

If I understood your question correctly, big star hotels (3 & above) charge around 1000 Rands onwards per/day.
Yes. But after you run out you have to buy your own. Have a great stay.
There is underground parking available at a cost of R50 per day.
I am not sure of specific hotel measures but everyone ins expected to limit their water use to 57 liters per day which is quite manageable if you are careful
