Zest Boutique Hotel, located in Green Point, right in the middle of Cape Town and close to most attractions, is a vibey and interesting boutique hotel, where trend setters and opinion makers feel comfortable. Internally, the décor is simply remarkable, impressively taking inspiration from the care-free days of the 70’s and catapulting it into the modern world creating a wonderful combination of vibrant and contemporary colour, light and creativity. There are fourteen double guest rooms; each one designed to maximise space and light. All rooms have an impressive range of facilities including king size bed, ensuite bathroom, a laptop safe, plasma TV, free Wi-fi, air conditioning, designer teas and pod coffee machines, and locally made biodegradable bathroom amenities. Included in the services offered are a 24-hour concierge, a day room, breakfast served until 11am every day, an all-day dining menu, in-house laundry, a bar, and Spa Treatments, either in the comfort of your room, or at the Zest Spa treatment room in its sister hotel just 3 minutes’ walk away. Zest Boutique Hotel is part of The Living Journey Collection and beautifully compliments The Tree House Boutique Hotel in Cape Town, Chapter House Boutique Hotel in Franschhoek, One Marine Drive Boutique Hotel in Hermanus and The River Manor Boutique Hotel in Stellenbosch.

The staffs are so kind and help us anytime. If you climbed and sweated, you can take shower even after checked out. It was so helpful because my flight was in midnight. Absolutely best choice for staying in Cape Town!

Clean, comfortable, quiet well styled boutique hotel in a residential area of Cape Town. Friendly staff, great breakfast selection. Non secure car parking on street. Walking distance to Gold Restaurant and V&A Waterfront or an easy, quick Uber ride.

We spent two nights at Zest in February 24 and I can honestly say it was outstanding. The staff are very courteous and helpful. Our room was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. (Superior Deluxe). Breakfast was delicious and both hot and cold is available. I highly recommend this boutique hotel and we would definitely return.

What an absolute gem of a hotel. Everything is absolutely fantastic and the staff are super helpful and friendly. Our room was spotless and there are so many great little touches like the home made sweets on the pillow or the cake in the afternoon. I honestly couldn’t fault a thing. The location is also great, walking distance to a number of bars and restaurants and a very cheap taxi ride down to the V&A waterfront. If we come back to Cape Town we will definitely be back at Zest.

Without a doubt this must be one of, if not the, best hotels in Cape Town. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left our stay was faultless. The staff are very attentive without being intrusive. Their standards are extremely high and honestly they couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms are all individual and so comfortable. We slept really well. Breakfast is very relaxed and there is so much choice. I can honestly not find anything to fault here.

This is a very comfortable boutique hotel with the most friendly staff. The breakfasts were first class. There is a small pool on site. Our room was large and very comfortable. It is also in a good location, a quick 10 minute walk to the waterfront & very easy to get a taxi back at night. We would happily return. (There is construction work taking place next door but if you are out all day it might not be an issue).

Zest Boutique Hotel was great. I won't add too much more redundancy to the other glowing reviews. I was in Cape Town for a conference, and was stuck at the (other) conference hotel for much of my stay. So, for my last night in Cape Town I was looking for something affordable yet chic and a well-rounded hotel to help give me a good memory of Cape Town before leaving. I am top-tier at the various hotel chains but couldn't really find a slam dunk at any of them. Zest is basically immaculate. Extremely clean. I was in a 'Deluxe' room ("#3"). The included breakfast is excellent. You can order an entree from the menu, and there's also a buffet of breads and fruit and cheese. The location is very good; just around the corner is Bootleggers coffee, great for getting some work done over coffee or lunch. (Small thing: I also appreciated that the desk was decent sized and out of the way of the TV; I was traveling alone, but if you are traveling with a +1, you can work while they watch TV.) Ms Maye and the rest of the staff really are amazing. My one-night bill was $145 all-in and I thought it was well worth it. If you're a bit tired of the hotel chains and looking for something a bit more cozy, this is an excellent pick.
