There was a wine there that my wife wishes she could buy back home. The wines and cheeses were excellent and the staff was great. They also have goats and they like their ears scratched! All in all, a good day was had.

Stopped by to look around; beautiful gardens to stroll around. The goats were an added attraction. Did not do the wine tasting or buy any wine there, however, bought some cheeses and baguettes before departing.

Really well run cheese and wine estate. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and the selection/quality of cheeses available is superb. Get cheese at wholesale prices as well. Say hi to the goats when you arrive.

What a lovely experience tasting wine and eating cheeses with good friends. Decided to stop over at Fairview as it was on the spice route and was not disappointed. Just wished we did the tastings first, before we bought the cheeses. Staff friendly and helpful.

We visited Fairview in January as a mixed group of 16 adults and children, we did the wine and cheese tasting followed by lunch in the goat shed. The wine and cheese were delightful. The shop well stocked and very reasonably priced. The food in the goat shed was excellent and again reasonably priced, quickly served and our waitress was very nice. There is goats in abundance to keep the children amused they spend time feeding them.

Lovely venue to taste wines (6 of them were available for us) - each with a small cheese. A Classic or Pioneer choice of wines dictated which wine you tasted. Good fun for a group of people. Shop on premises to buy wines, cheeses etc afterwards. Lovely gardens as well.

One of the best wine and cheese tasting we had in South Africa. Good cost benefit with good wines. The average price of the tasting is 60 to 80 rands. And you can taste good wines for 100 a 200 rands. If you want to do a master tasting you have to book before you arrive otherwise you’ll have to wait some time before you can taste anything
