we stayed at the glen for two weeks . Everyday from our excursions we felt like we were coming back home . From the lovely people at the reception . Especially Justin , Maggie, Nigel and Denzel were very welcoming and wanted to know how our days were . Justin would check on us every few minutes to make sure we were well and everything was ok . To the loving people at our service Blessings makes the best cocktails and is ever warm and welcoming . Tapiwa , Inga made our breakfast interactive . Trevor does the best massages . I would mention all name because they were all simply amazing . Would definitely recommend the Glen for stays in cape town . Will definitely go back again .
The Glen was my first hotel in South Africa. And it did not disappoint. The airport pick-up was seamless. Indeed the car service was so good I will forgo unreliable Uber and book all my transportation directly through the hotel next time I am there. From the warm greeting every morning at breakfast to the complimentary fruit and chocolates during turn-down every evening I felt very much looked after as a solo traveler. I was given a spotless private room with a nice balcony on the top floor of the building. The overall vibe was upscale but comfortable. Professional without being stuffy. After returning from a safari I opted to stay at another hotel with a big reputation. It was fine. But frankly I wish I had return to the Glen instead.
We stayed at Glen Boutique Hotel for two weeks. We had a wonderful experience with the whole team. Especially Joshua is very welcoming and makes sure that you are happy 24/7. He is very passionated and communicative. So whatever you need, he hqs a solution for everything you ask for. In the morning the whole team is so interested in your wellbeing and everyone gives you a good feeling. We always had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, because we really enjoyed it. Especially the breakfast was very good and healthy. For a few days we felt sick and they made sure that we get breakfast to our room and made a special and fresh ginger lemon tea for us. It was just like family. All in all we really recommend staying at Glen Boutique Hotel. Especially staying at Seapoint is beautiful. Staying here will make your Capetown experience very positive and safe.…
Top class service from a highly client-oriented team. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly enthusiastic staff who operate as a team and have a great camaraderie between them. I look forward to return visits.
Having been to this wonderful hotel more times than I can remember, I just felt compelled to write how amazing this place is after my return this morning. The staff are incredibly attentive and more importantly happy and friendly - from the management to the maintenance teams. The food is superb - everything is home-cooked and you can taste the effort the chef's put into each dish. The overall ambiance is second-to-none, and the cocktails are pretty damned good to!! You can see from the photos how much of an oasis this place is. The pool is delightful (refreshing salt water), with a plentiful supply of beds and towels all day long. The rooms are beautifully appointed, comfortable and clean, each with their own subtle styling that makes you feel like it's yours for the time you're there - and even more so after the turn-down service in the evenings. I absolutely love the place, and as a solo traveler am really made to feel part of the hotel family. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the team, headed by the awesome owner Mark and supported by Mamma Juliana :-)…
