My wife and I made this hotel our first stop in a 3 week tour of the Western Cape (Garden Route). We were surprised by the quality of the property. We had the XXL room with garden. The room was huge and exceptionally clean. The aircon works perfectly. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Special thanks to Martin Vermeulen, an extremely pleasant gentleman who really helped us find great restaurants and points of interest. The hotel is quite small and is tucked away in a quiet street in Green Point, a very safe area about a 20 min walk from the V&A Waterfront. Breakfast was cooked to order and very good. There is nothing to criticise, you get what is you see on the websites. Having spoken with some of the patrons we learned that they return year after year. Very highly recommended.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are nice but some are quite small. I would choose a room with a garden rather...

We only spent one night here before flying home but agreed it would make a fab base for a longer stay. The area appeared very safe and quiet yet you could walk easily in about 15 mins to the Waterfront area. Our room was very stylish and comfortable and had a lovely little patio overlooking the pool surrounded by bougainvillea. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. A great choice all round.

A little concerned on the location and the appearance of the venue on arrival but once we were settled in “Boutique Hotel” summed it up exactly. Just a little bit away from the norm’ and actually two houses making up the Hotel with two pools, Great. The host Dennis is without doubt the most attentive, helpful and charming host I have ever meet.......he is the Dysart Boutique. Breakfast was of a good standard and mixed between self-service and good cooked food prepared to order. Room was of a good standard and well equipped and definitely of a Boutique style.

This was our 4th stay at this beautiful guest house. We remembered Dennis and Martin from our previous visits and they were as charming, helpful and kind as ever. The newer staff were lovely too. The room was as lovely as we remembered, beautifully maintained and decorated. The breakfasts were superb with an array of offerings both hot and cold. The staff were particularly helpful when I left my glasses behind and I only realised when we’d almost reached the airport. One phone call was all it took and my glasses were put in a taxi and were with us half an hour later! Going above and beyond the call of duty is to be expected at this guest house. It is run so well and the staff are a credit to the owners.

A fantastic location (a 15 minute walk to VA Waterfront), chic and stylish decor, the most helpful staff ever....with Denis and Shelley as great brand ambassadors and Martin the most affable night porter I've ever met....and as for the 'egg special' at breakfast....easily 10/10! Two classy chill out areas with sun loungers and small 'cool down' pools.....the team at Dysart made our stay a 'memorable' one! Thanks.
