Cape Rose Cottage, Camps Bay, Cape Town is simply unbelievable - the most beautiful, most comfortable, most central, quietest and most personable accommodation ever! - Fantastic, unbelievably beautiful picturesque location with a view of palm trees, the Atlantic Ocean, sunsets in the sea and the rugged cliffs of the Twelve Apostles resp. Table Mountain on the back. Extremely well-kept property and garden with all the comforts such as sun terrace, pool, air conditioning, lounge, bar, etc. - All the sights of Cape Town are within a maximum of one hour by car, usually much less: Waterfront (Robben Island), Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope, wine regions, beach, etc. Those who like to walk can reach many of them also on foot. - Cape Rose Cottage itself is lovingly furnished in detail. The owners are straightforward and extremely helpful. A true home from home! Oliver and Andrea

Cape Rose Cottage is a great place to stay in Camps Bay in a quiet area. We stayed in the Gardenia Suite which was furnished and decorated with such good taste and attention to detail that it felt like home. Standards were very high. Pam and Steve welcomed us into their home and were so friendly and helpful, always available to book restaurants for us and for a chat. The Suite was very well equipped and breakfast was lovely. Nice patio and garden and close to the pool. We hope to return and Cape Rose Cottage will be our first choice for accommodation in Camps Bay.

The cape rose cottage is situated close to the twelve apostels mountain range on a beautiful spot in camps bay. the view is outstanding, the cleanness and cozyness of pam and steve's cottage is perfect. I enjoyed their hospitality and support during my entire stay. always note that the stay in this cottage is far more homely than the stay in a hotel room. it is personal, it gives you the feeling you'd always wanna have being abroad.

Pam and Steve were fantastic hosts, welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for them. The housekeeping staff were lovely and our room was kept spotlessly clean. We stayed in the Lavender Room which was bright and airy with a perfect view of the ocean. We shared a very large lounge area with two other guests though most of the time had it to ourselves. Breakfasts were great...fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, eggs, bread, jams and a meat and cheese platter if requested at no extra charge. In addition to this Pams home made shortbread biscuits were the best we’ve ever eaten. Don’t stay here if you want to be in the thick of the hustle and bustle, this is a quiet and peaceful haven. Thank you for a perfect stay.

We stayed at Cape Rose Cottage for 10 nights and can honestly say we would not stay anywhere else when visiting Cape Town again! Steve & Pam welcomed us with open arms from day one and we’re nothing but exceptional hosts throughout! The room was spotlessly clean, well stocked with toiletries, amenities and breakfast replenished daily. Pam was also kind enough to provide us with a fruit salad and a meat and cheese platter daily, which was delicious! The views from our room (Lavendar room) were breathtaking! We will miss waking up to the peaceful ocean view, and also watching the beautiful sunset. The pool area is very peaceful and relaxing and so is the lounge area with the honesty bar and spectacular views. We used Uber to get around Cape Town which is the cheapest and easiest way to travel about if you’re not driving. We cannot find any faults with this beautiful cottage, and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting! We will definitely be returning in the near future! We already miss it! Thanks again Pam & Steve! Mr & Mrs S x

We stayed at Rose Cottage after already spending 7 days in Cape Town and Franshheok. Rose Cottage was hands down the most relaxing part of our trip. We were welcomed on arrival by Pam who went out of her way to show us around and ensure that we had everything that we needed for our stay. The room was extremely comfortable, bright and homely, with fantastic views over the ocean. Any minor issues that we had (hairdryer not working, wifi signal low etc.) were quickly sorted out by Steve, for which we were very grateful. When we went out to explore Camps Bay we realised how close we were to everything, and even getting to the V&A waterfront or any other touristy areas outside of Camps Bay were only a short Uber ride away. Staying here was great as it felt a bit like being at home. We were well looked after, and yet still afforded our privacy. We really appreciated the bottle of sparkling wine we were given as a gift to say Happy New Year, as well as the selection for breakfast. Pam even took the time to make sure we liked what we were being given each day. If we were ever to stay in Camps Bay again (which we hope we will!), then we would certainly be wanting to stay here again. Thank you Pam and Steve, no wonder you have so many positive reviews already :-)

Cape Rose Cottage, Camps Bay, Cape Town: Home away from home, the greatest place to be. Friendly, beautiful, close to most attractions of Cape Town and the most beautiful sunsets anywhere in the world - and we lived in a lot of different places! 2020 we will be there for the 5th time. We would be coming back every month if we could!:-) It was our third stay (2015,2017 and 2019) and again, we were very happy. We were lucky to experience all 4types of accommodation Pam and Steve are offering and I cannot say I like any of them most. Every one of them has its charm, however stays at the same time very practical (you have everything you need), functional (everything works) and nice to look at (every room has its own color which looks great). Pam and Steve are great hosts, doing a great job to make your holidays unforgettable.

We absolutely loved our stay here and wished we were staying longer. The perfect base for exploring Cape Town and area. Hosts Pam and Steve were so genuinely welcoming and friendly. The downstairs green suite was just perfect, so comfortable with lots of lovely little touches and we loved having our private breakfast on our patio.

I am grateful for the opportunity to share our positive experience with Pam and Steve at their “Cape Rose Cottage”. The cottage was beautifully done and attention seemed to be taken to every detail. It reminded my husband and I of a charming cottage you would find in “Carmel by the Sea” in California. The living area had ocean views and sliding glass doors with a balcony. There were lovely gardens in every direction and their small pool felt like an oasis in paradise. They provided an honors bar that was well stocked. The breakfast was so generous with meats, cheeses, eggs, toast and fruit and cereal and juice that we often had it for two meals. It is about a five minute drive to the beautiful beach. I liked getting away from the business and hanging out in the quiet and peaceful “Cape Rose Cottage” at night. Pam and Steve were awesome. They are lovely people that were available to help every day. They even treated us to their honors bar one evening! It was great to have the chance to hear about their country’s politics and share our disgust with TRUMP!! This was a 10 out of 10 for us. Thank you Pam and Steve.
