Detailed Reviews
Upon arrival at the property, a warm greeting awaits you. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, eager to assist with any inquiries about the area.
The accommodation was a one-bedroom unit featuring a kitchenette, an apartment-sized refrigerator, microwave, and sink, along with complimentary teas and condiments. The bed provided comfort and cleanliness. Amenities included a television with free Netflix access. The bathroom boasted a consistently clean shower with readily available hot water, complemented by provided shampoo, conditioner, and a towel warmer.
During my spring visit, which was slightly chilly, portable heaters were available to ward off the cold.
The apartment's location was conveniently a 3-minute walk from the beach and the main strip, bustling with various restaurants, grocery stores, and all the essentials one could need.
Traveling solo from the United States, I found the gated and secure property to be very safe. I would highly recommend it.
A special shout-out to Essie, who is truly a queen!

I booked my stay here as it was recommended for guests to a wedding held at The Bay. The studio flat, Daytona, was certainly very clean and comfortable BUT this unit had no privacy at all as right on the edge of the swimming pool. This meant there was no private place to sit outside for my morning coffee. Unfortunately it gets worse ... no hot water on my arrival. I reported this the following morning and had workmen coming in and out of my unit virtually all day. On return from the wedding I found there was still no hot water. I finally had a hot shower on my 3rd night, and departed the following morning. I therefore recommend not booking this particular flat #7 Daytona.

The location of the property and service were exemplary. The staff were professional, patient, and kind. The room was well appointed. The location got a bit loud at night, but it is because of the excellent location near restaurants, etc.

We had a terrible experience here. Our first room was up the tiniest staircase looking over the resident homeless guy’s spot. The room itself was like a shoebox with hardly any room to move around the bed & the bathroom was dated, was dirty and smelt so bad. We lasted about 3 minutes before going to ask for another room. We literally had to beg to be moved & we were told the manager was on his break so we would come back in an hour. Eventually, we were moved in to a 2nd room. Initially we thought it was clean although dated but a closer inspection proved us wrong. We were even put off getting a shower. We asked to be moved again, to be told the hotel was full. It was like a backpacker’s hotel. Russian girls next door sat outside talking, screaming & jumping in pool until early hours. When we called reception there was no answer. We reported this the following day but nothing was done & we had the same problem for a 2nd night. We moved to a 3rd room the following day. This room had been renovated and had a good view, however fixtures & fittings were badly fitted, the door didn’t close properly, bathroom door fell off more than once & there was 1 double socket to supply a fridge, microwave, fan (cos non of the rooms had air con) & kettle. No mirror for hair drying. To top it off we had to pay for parking, something which I have never come across in all the hotels I’ve stayed. Will not be recommending this place and will definitely not be back!

Be warned! Not like it is in the photos. Very rundown with noisy building works going on from 9am, so you can’t chill by the pool due to the angle grinder! This is a place that takes your money and has zero interest in the comfort of its guests. We came in a group, some friends had a room with absolutely no view or outlook. They asked to change everyday, but, it didn’t happen. I would strongly advise to book elsewhere.

We were lucky to book a room at Stone Cottage when we did because it was very popular and booked out for a film festival at the Bay Hotel. It was conveniently located and easily accessible any time of the day. Even though it is noted that check in is only in the afternoon, an email confirmation sent out before suggested that check in is available from 7am, which was a bit disappointing since we arrived there around 10am and had to wait until 3pm.
But overall, it’s a nice place for a quick stay.

Stone cottages lovely, but the studio ones quite cramped. If the pergolas were actually covered and not just wooden slats, it would have been nice. Obviously, in nice weather, one can sit outside, but in raining weather, the studios have nowhere to sit inside. The pool on the stone cottage side was lovely. The staff were friendly. Think they should already have the fridge switched on when they know someone is checking in. Will try the studios on the other side with the 2 pools next time. Excellent value for the location.

Hi,
No they are supplied
I am sorry but I do not have this information. An email to the Resort would give you authentic information.
Hi - there is an excellent bus service into Cape Town from Camps Bay so it is possible to travel in to pick up a car. We used Thrifty and found the picking up process to be time consuming. The manageress was very helpful though when we needed a GPS replaced.
