My husband and I stayed here over Christmas and had a lovely time. The staff were so accommodating and kind and the free breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious! The rooms are small but well appointed and while our bathroom was a bit dated, the manager let us know they are renovating all the bathrooms and ours hadn't been done yet. The location was perfect as it's just across the street from the beach and is just far enough down the street from the "strip" of shops and restaurants to not be too loud but is close enough to be very walk-able.

We have stayed at the Primi Seacastle numerous times and have always been welcomed by the host & manager Micheal .
He works with a fantastic team , Gloria , Syah and the ladies that look after the breakfast & rooms.
Micheal always goes the extra mile and his knowledge & experience of South Africa helps to make a perfect holiday.
The rooms have recently been refurbished making the stay more comfortable.
The views from the rooms are breathtaking of Camps Bay beach and the Twelve Apostles.
The location is superb with numerous restaurants & bars a two minute walk away.
The hop on bus stop is across the road, and there is a small hotel car park.
I would recommend this hotel & if you are lucky enough to stay Micheal & his team will surely make it a enjoyable.
We always try and build in a short stay into our itinerary when staying in Cape Town to relax and share a glass of wine on the terrace watching the beautiful sunsets.

What a wonderful weekend away in a beautiful setting. My kids and I felt welcomed by every member of their team we encountered. The owner (Gina) is friendly and accommodating and we were made to feel like we always had someone on stand by even after hours when the lodge was empty. The rooms are well equipped and tidy. Wifi available throughout the property, even at the pool. Incredible views of the surrounding areas. A little path leading up to a dam where one can swim and lounge on a deck chair with the option to braai. The little town with a mini mall, a mere 10 minute drive away yet the lodge felt secluded and tucked away. I would go back there in a heartbeat.

Primi Castle is located right at the beach in Camps Bay, Capetown. Our rooms/apartments were facing the ocean, each with their own terrace/balcony with, in our case, a table and chairs and 2 sunbeds. If it gets too hot you can open the umbrella.
The room we had was spacious, well equipped and above all very clean. And, as an exception to the rule in South Africa, everything was in working condition and in one piece. We always bring some small tools with me, just in case, but we did not need them.
The fridge in the room and the little kitchenette were also a welcome feature.
The one thing I could not fix was the scheduled powercuts (called loadshedding) by the National Power company ESKOM. Although we have stayed at locations where they installed generators to cope with this, Primi Castle does not have one (yet), or only a small one for the office, because the WIFI kept working (our room was situated near the office). They do supply portable lights and also place them in the corridors. Being on holiday this was not a big deal for us. Made us appreciate the fact that at home there is always power.
Breakfast was served in the breakfastroom/bar/pool-deck and had plenty options to choose from.
But the best at Primi is the friendly staff. Especially Andrew and Gloria from the reception are great and make you feel welcome.
In short: we will definitely be staying there when visiting the Cape.

This was our first holiday to South Africa. We found the hotel on Book it.com. We tried to book a sea view room but they were all taken, so had a room which only had a very small terrace with a very small view of the sea. The room was immaculately clean, huge bed, huge shower and plenty of space. The hotel is only small but very personal, all the staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfasts were gorgeous, all freshly cooked to order, fresh fruit, muffins, croissants, freshly made coffees of your choice etc. it is located opposite the most beautiful beach and we often sat in the two rocking chairs, people watching with a lovely bottle of wine or a couple of cold beers. We would definitely recommend the hotel and would definitely go back. A real boutique hotel. Book early if you want a room with a sea view… could possibly be a bit noisy with the road next to it?? But not sure if this is the case.

A great location and stunning view. A strange checkin experience though as hard to find entrance to hotel. A pretty expensive hotel with a very small bedroom but close to restaurants- highly recommend BoVine and Hussar Grill. The photo of our room 3 seemed to have a king bed but we had a queen. The staff were friendly and the breakfasts were top class and healthy. Parked our car in the driveway each day. Would be a top spot in summer.

This was our first visit to South Africa and Camps Bay was our first stop on a 2 week vacation.

From the very start of our week stay at the Primi Seacastle was the warm and friendly welcome from Michael. This was a constant theme throughout our stay from Michael and the rest of the staff.

Our room was a junior suite with fantastic views to the beach and ocean. The room was exceptional and the standard of service was ideal.

we took breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beach each day. The choice of continental and cooked breakfast was really good and was a great relaxed way to start our day.

the primi seacastle is such a nice, warm, quirky hotel that i would recommend to anyone visiting Camps Bay and Cape Town.

Michael, thank you for your hospitality and making our stay in south africa such a wonderful experience.

Andrew and his team at Primi Seacastle were extremely friendly and helpful and provided several useful tips. The room was very tastefully decorated, had all necessary amenities, with a view over the ocean. Beach is just on the other side of the road, shops, restaurants and the stop of the Hop-On/Hop-Off bus are three minutes walk away. If Camps Bay is not enough to make you want to stay much longer in Capetown, the Primi Seacastle Hotel should be! Very highly recommended!!

This boutique hotel was beyond expectations. The staff are friendly and helpful, the beach is across the road and the view is to die for!!

This is our first time in Cape Town and we’re so happy we booked, easy access to the beach and the local restaurants/bars. The rooms are very nice and clean, and the staff helped us book multiple trips out and restaurant reservations (Thank you Andrew and team).

I’m currently sitting on the balcony, beer in hand and looking at the stars and listening to the waves. Such a great place.
