We spent 2 nights at Azamare Guesthouse and really enjoyed our stay! The main standouts were the staff, the breakfast in the morning and of course the view of the coastline. We particularly liked the location as it's closer to Bakoven rather than the 'main drag' of Camps Bay. We walked each morning to the local Bootleggers coffee shop (a standard in Cape Town) and enjoyed our coffees on Beta Beach - what a treat. That being said the location is walkable to the 'main drag' during the day and Ubers are readily available. We would love to return.

Azamare was selected for us by our travel agent, and we can understand why they recommended it. We absolutely fell in love with the place during our stay there. The bedroom and dining room balcony views over the ocean are breathtaking, and Fiona at the front desk was so friendly, kind, and helpful. The breakfast staff makes the best omelettes my husband and I had ever had, and they even prepared breakfast for us before normal hours on a day we had an early tour. Camps Bay is a beautiful neighborhood, and there are many restaurants, a beach, and a tidal pool for swimming all within a short walking distance from the hotel.

Excellent location in Camps Bay with amazing views especially early morning / evening
The breakfast was the best we had this time in South Africa, also the aperitif (nice wines + excellent snacks prepared by the team) was a good opportunity to chat with the team and other guests.
Very good accommodation and very nice team.
Thanks a lot for making us feel so welcome!

1st room we were booked is on the lower floor and can be quite dark and had a very unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, we raised this with the staff and fortunately Seahorse room on the top floor was available and we were moved, I think we would have been unhappy if we stayed in the first room. On the photo its shows a Jacuzzi for the Guesthouse, this was unfortunately not working.
The New room was great but still an issue with drain smell just not as bad, so if owner can attend to this would be great.
Staff were brilliant and ever so helpful and Breakfast is very nice, views are amazing and rooms are decorated well with comfortable beds parking is great.

We stayed recently for one week at this wonderfully located Guest House situated just a 10 min scenic walk to the main Camps Bay Strip. Spectacular views over the Bay from the bedrooms and communal lounge area and sundeck which has a small pool and jacuzzi. The rooms are well appointed and a generous size
What made our stay special was the warm welcome we received from the hosts, Karina and Fiona. They couldn't do enough for us and helped with taxis, trips and local advice as well as providing the sundowner drinks and nibbles each evening which was a nice touch and provided an opportunity to meet other guests.
Breakfast options were plentiful. We hope to return

We were 3 Mommies who needed a break and decided to spend a night at Azamare on Womansday.
The house is beautiful with breathtaking views!
At 11:30 we were asked to go to our room as they wanted to activate the alarm. You should be able to activate the alarm if you are in the lounge. Its not nice staying somewhere and paying to stay there and then you get told what time to go to your room.

Everything about Azamare is top class.
Would definitely recommend. My partner and I chose the luxury suite with a private pool. It was supper clean and big.
If I would recommend a few things, they should please provide their guests with free water, sleepers and room service. I mean considering the money one pays these still form part of basic needs at a luxury hotel. But overall, it was excellent!

We had a great time at Azamare Guest House. We had the Triton room, which is huge and has the most amazing views along the coast. The bed was large and comfortable with lovely soft pillows. We were greeted by very attentive staff and a welcome drink. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of hot and cold food and plenty coffee. The house is on the coast road and is a two minute drive or 10-15 minute walk to the restaurants and shops. Staff are lovely.

The Azamare guest house is such a friendly and comfortable place to stay. Ideally located in Camp's Bay, overlooking the sea, with a rooftop pool and beautifully comfortable and well appointed rooms.

The staff were all delightful and couldn't have been more helpful. Every morning they made us a fresh breakfast, with fruit, yoghurt, pastries and cooked food on offer. Each evening we were invited to go upstairs for drinks and canapes, sitting out on the balcony, watching the sun go down.

The hotel is perfectly located right on the hop on hop off bus routes, meaning the rest of Capt Town was easily accessible.

We spent 6 nights here as a part of our tour of South Africa. A short walk to Camps Bay. Great location. Breakfast was plentiful and included cooked, fresh fruit, croissants etc. Nothing was too much trouble. Great free canapes and wine in the evening. But best of all was the manager Karina. We spent most nights putting the world to rights! Karina, we miss you and we will be back to see you one day x

Each of the rooms has its own bathroom. Azamare is way too nice to have shared bathrooms between rooms.
