We loved our honeymoon stay in the Onyx room! We had beautiful views of the mountains and the sea. The rooms were charmingly decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided us with recommendations, assisted us in booking taxis and making dinner reservations. The hotel was located in a convenient part of Camps Bay making it easy to get down to the restaurants on the beach by taxi. Also convenient to get to other parts of Cape Town for sightseeing. It is a small hotel on a quiet street so we were never disturbed. Definitely great value

Atholl House in the perfect spot for exploring Capetown, Camps Bay and beyond. The views are absolutely stunning being so close to the 12 Apostles, Table Mountain, Lions Head and Signal Hill. Dawn and her team were so kind, helpful and professional throughout our 4 night stay. Breakfast offering is excellent, buffet style with a full choice of anything cooked you might like. The homebaked cake on offer each afternoon went down very well as we took in the stunning views from our terrace. Think it would be hard to find anywhere with more perfect views. Dawn's knowledge is invaluable and she is able to help and advise on anything you might need or want to know. Would not hesitate to return if in Camps Bay in the future.

how to start? Well, the view is stunning. The room is nicely decorated and you never leave the bathroom which is by the way super clean (as the rest of the house). The breakfast then. Nothing to complain about either. Kelvin is there to make you his delicious omelettes! Last but not least, Katja, always there to make sure you have everything you need and eager to help you find a good restaurant or activity to do.

We usually rent a flat when we come to Capetown but opted this time for a B&B in Camps Bay. We had two different rooms and both where amazing. The views are breathtaking all day long. The pool is also very nice and it is actually the firm time we ever use it in Camps Bay! Fantastic breakfast and welcoming. Fantastic staff and a special thanks to Dawn who is all about making sure you have a great stay. Thanks and we will be back soon!

Located just up the hill from the centre of Camps Bay this lovely guest house offers stunning views across the bay. We were warmly greeted on arrival by Dawn who showed us to our beautifully decorated room which was called Amber. This is a small immaculate boutique hotel with only five rooms.

All the staff were helpful and very friendly and nothing too much trouble

Although we only made it a couple of times breakfast was lovely and all freshly cooked

There is a pool in the secluded garden and being small meant it was lovely and peaceful with shade under the trees if you wanted it

Only twenty minutes walk downhill into Camps Bay where there are plenty of good bars and restaurants. Would recommend a taxi back though.
Table mountain only five minutes away and Cape Town Water Front 15 minutes depending on traffic.

We stayed four nights and would definitely return on our next visit to South Africa. Thank you to Dawn and the team for making the first part of our visit/tour memorable.

Dear Guy, it was such a pleasure to have you staying with us. Even if you did not made it to all breakfast we very happy you enjoyed the once you have. ;-) We are very happy to have this little secluded garden what you could enjoy every day due to the great weather we had - it was a touch to hot but in the nice shade of the tree's one could manage just fine. We look forward to welcome you some time again. It is always great to have returning guests. All of the best from the entire Atholl House Team

The beautiful guesthouse is located a short drive off the main promenade in an exclusive residential area.
On arrival we received a warm and sincere welcome from Dawn, the manager. Our luggage was brought to our room by the eager to please Kelvin. On entering the room we stood in silence as the sea view took our breath away. Dawn brought us some sumptuous refreshments to enjoy on our balcony. We stayed in the Amethyst room. The room was fully equipped including luxurious bathrobes. The guest house house is extremely modern with very tasteful furnishings and decoration. Breakfast was served either in the breakfast room or on the raised patio area. The food was excellent offering both a cold buffet and a fresh hot breakfast. Dawn proved to be the perfect hostess and we were sad when she went on her weekend leave. She handed over the baton to the delightful Lindy who equally excelled. A real bonus was being allowed to stay in our room on our final day as we had a late flight home. Obviously this would not have been the case had our room been booked but they had made provisions for us to stay if it was booked.

This guest house and both Dawn and Lindy are real gems. We cannot thank them enough for making our final days in South Africa really memorable.

We stayed here for 4 nights in February. Dawn made our stay a very special one. She could not have been more attentive or helpful. The house itself is very comfortable with superb views of the bay, Lion's Head and the Apostles. The rooms and bathrooms are a good size and very well fitted out.

Lovely accommodation and thanks to Dawn and her team for making us most welcome. The views from our bedroom (Ruby room) were special at all times of day. Ending the day by the pool was most enjoyable. The home made cakes were part of the unexpected joys of our stay. The home made bread at breakfast was great. Dawn was very helpful in recommending activities and selecting excellent restaurants. Facilities on checking out were very smooth despite multiple departures at the same time.
