I absolutely loved staying here. Great location, fantastic hosts and very safe. You have to try Eden's breakfast, the best in town! Bach and Rachel are amazing hosts, they made me feel so welcome and I felt a part of the family. I recommend this place very highly.

The room was beautifully setup with amazing views. Luxurious finishing touches and very warm and friendly hosts. Air conditioning was appreciated and lovely view overlooking the golf course from the bathtub. We could come and go in our own time and felt very at home.

Lovely staying at the Greens Guesthouse. Emasculate views over the golf course and mountains. Neat as a pin. Arrival was handle professionally. I will definitely stay there again. Suggestion: Maybe cater for water or something to drink on arrival.

We stayed for 5 days and came with moderate expectations. We were pleasantly surprised when the accommodations seemed lovely, although it is a basement and quite cold. When I first arrived, no one was there. I tried calling and knocking on the door for ~5 minutes before the helper answered. He was very nice, and I got settled in. My colleague arrived a little later, and we talked with Bach's wife and daughter, who were lovely. They even drove us down to get some dinner at a cute little place nearby.
Sounds great so far, right? Enter Bach. We met him when we went out to the road to try to find a taxi, which he told us would charge us exorbitant amounts of money to get to Cape Town, so he offered to take us. Unfortunately, he said he needed to break into his house first. Sketchy. He took us into town. He asked us if we wanted breakfast the next morning and what time (note, their site markets the guesthouse as a B&B). He said we could give him a call for a ride back, but we ended up taking a taxi since he had already seemed a bit forceful. The next morning, we ate breakfast, which was delicious but extremely filling. We also ate it the next morning, but were ~30 minutes late up to breakfast, not realizing that as guests we were expected to be prompt. He was visibly annoyed and expressed his annoyance multiple times. We didn't eat breakfast the next 3 days as we were there on business and we didn't have extra time in the mornings, and he also seemed annoyed at that.
The real trouble came with payment. There are stickers everywhere on the windows indicating the credit cards are acceptable forms of payment. Bach charged us extra for every little thing. He charged us nearly double what we paid anywhere else for breakfast (completely unexpected, as it is marketed as a B&B). After remarking that the taxis would overcharge us to take us into town, he charged us the same amount as our taxi back. I should also note that there was no middle seat, so I had to ride on a pillow with my legs near the shifter without a seat belt in his truck. It was extremely uncomfortable, but I thought I was accepting a favor and didn't complain. He also surprised us by telling us he didn't accept credit cards because "his clients never used it." So... they just carry around 5 nights worth of lodging's cash? Between the two of us, we were short. A friend picked us up and brought us to the airport, and we borrowed the rest of the money from her. It was nerve-wracking, and we had to race to the airport. Bach is not a pleasant person, and although the place is nice, I would avoid him. The place might look cheaper than nearby accommodations, but it won't be by the time he's done nickeling and diming you. Lastly, his treatment of his black "helper" was less than professional and made us very uncomfortable.

From the time we arrived until the time we left, the owners made us feel at home allowing us free passage to everything we required. Will definitely stay there again.

Nice room but little outdated. Coffee stained magazines are not a winner. Bathroom vanity is uncomfortably high. Parking is a mission.

I stayed for 6 nights. The room was lovely with great views over the golf course and mountains surrounding the area. Breakfast was freshly cooked every morning and was a great start to each day. I found both Bach and his wife very friendly and hospitable. Only downside is that dinner is not served at the premises. That said, Bach went out of his way and provided me with different options and drove me to get dinner of my choice every evening. A mini kitchen with fridge, microwave and other utensils is available in the room. I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed one night for business and the place was very lovely, at a quiet location. A beautiful table set up for breakfast, freshly prepared and there was variety to choose from. On the negative, there were 2 huge "fine" dogs in the house which can be a bit intimidating if you are not that much fond of dogs like me. Overall I had a good stay.

My husband and I are just back from a trip to South Africa and we stayed at the Greens for our first 5 nights and we thought the place was just beautiful, our room overlooked the golf course and our room was spotlessly clean. We found Bach to be a lovely and very helpful host. Breakfast was cooked fresh for us each morning and the food was really good. We couldnt find fault with this place at all and we were made to feel so welcome. There is a lovely pool to relax by and our room also had a lovely wooden deck in front of it so you could relax there too. I felt we were in a little corner of heaven when we were there.
