And mostly I want to say big ups to Tyrone Libroy,his energy, love and dedication for his job is extra ordinary,the type of care I received from him made me wish to stay longer♥️♥️. Thank you darling, keep up the excellent job you're doing. In conclusion Balmoral Lodge Guest House is a place to go, you can even watch Netflix, YouTube with no worries about the wifi connection.

Balmoral lodge is located in Bellville, Cape Town. Rooms are spacious and sparkling clean. Hospitality at its peak in Balmoral, Kitchen Staff were very accommodating. Cornelius, Bruce and Tyrone were all great people. Being my first visit to Cape Town, lodge is far from the Central Business District were major tourist attraction sites are located.
Pieter Cloete was our shuttle guide, a patient and nice guy. without him we wouldn't have explored Cape town. Thank you Pieter, it was a pleasure doing Business with you.

Did not enjoy my stay.although the lodge upgraded the room .There was no kettle in the room.
O n request was told by staff member to use the kitchen to make coffee.
The breakfast was a nightmare with no one taking charge
The lodge was full.maybe with small crowd it was nice.
But with large number,no control
We waited more than 20 minutes before someone helped us.(we were told to go and sit )it was crowded.we had to wait .There was no place.
The room cupboard need redo
The bed did not sleep nice
The TV was a disaster with Morne trying to help.not good
We had to ask to change one pillow case as it was used.
Overall not nice,We booked in at another lodge for the 3 days.
We only stayed for one night.
Return the key on Friday.
It was extra money we had to spend.
Suggest.There should be more control where there are large crowd
You cant upgrade us with another big group where the kitchen is mostly used by them.(The same group)
This upgrade was a disadvantage.It meant nothing.
The breakfast .There was no supervising.Have seats reserved.
The TV.password did not work
I shared my experience when I booked out with reception.

Good afternoon, We appreciate your feedback on our facilities and services experienced during your recent stay at Balmoral Lodge. With regards to your room, we do have three different rooms types with different amenities inside of the rooms. Not of of our guest rooms have coffee and tea stations, hence having communal kitchens that our guests can make use of during their stay. Over the December period, we did have groups staying with us which could have resulted in our breakfast area being slightly crowded. With this said, I do know our Kitchen and Breakfast Team and other feedback from guests in terms of breakfast was nothing short of excellent. Should this not have been the case during your visit, we do apologize for any inconvenience caused. In terms of your suggestions on how and we can improve in our facilities and service, we do take this to heart and into consideration. We received a warm welcome and our short notice request for a special birthday breakfast was easily accommodated. Great place for a private function. Breakfast was delicious and the art work inspirational.

Not happy with the room service offering, this needs to be improved remarkably. You have fridges in the rooms but ice cream and dinner plates are not placed in there. Previous dinner plate is left and not taken away

It was only one night stay, but it was a very good experience. The service was very good and the breakfast was perfect Highly recommended accommodation. Can move freely - accommodation is in a suitable area to get to certain places and close to restaurants.

I stayed in the house across in the Reynolds section of Balmoral. The room was VERY small and I basically had to work on the bed because the tiny table had no access to a plug point. Every night at 8 pm was loadshedding and they have NOTHING - not a light, not a candle, nothing. So, you basically have to go to bed when it's lights out. They have a breakfast menu of 5 items and only 3 of them are ever available. The staff are nice and friendly but there's no sign of management. I stayed for 5 nights and had to request fresh towels as they weren't that fresh to start with. Wouldn't like to stay there again unless they did something about the loadshedding and pulled up their socks.

Good day, Thank you for your review and for your support. We apologise that you had a challenge with load shedding and the darkness as a result. Our Reynolds property has an inverter installed,but we unfortunately had downtime on the Inverter because of a battery failure and the supplier unable to provide a replacement for the duration of the service on the battery. This will be resolved before the end of March 2023, and we are glad to announce that major solar installations across all our properties at our main establishment will be completed by the end of April 2023. This will effectively end the frustrations of load shedding and we will be able to function as per normal during loadshedding and thereby offer a better experience to our guests. We apologise for housekeeping flaws and have communicated your experience with our team to further improve our service and find better procedures to avoid this going forward. All our staff in reception fulfill the role of managers And could easily have addresses any of your concerns. Concerning breakfast, we will further investigate why all items on offer are not being served and correct this immediately. We would love to welcome you back after our Solar installations have been completed to show off our improvements And provide a better experience without the effects of load shedding. We were booked into a room in the central of a building with now windows to the outside, but directly opening into a noisy lounge area.
To top it all, the room was extremely small with no A/C despite the location. The shower/toilet is so small you have to step outside to turn around.
On arrival, we saw clients carry in volumes of alcohol to their rooms... an only imagine how noisy that would have been later...
Got a much much better place somewhere else... glad we booked out as fast as we could!!

It’s a good, clean and safe guest house with safe parking. The staff is friendly and there is a kitchen which you can use. The rooms are not noise-proof, but the weekend gathering outside the room dispersed around 10:00 pm.
