Was relocated to Welgemoed Guest House. Staff friendly and helpful. Felt as if I was at home. Good safe are. Conveniently located close to our offices Enjoyed breakfast specifically. Garden and pool clean and neat. Highly recommended.
1.I think you can just work on improving the bedding. 2.Payment confirmation before clients check inn, to avoid requesting proof of payment from clients who are on business trip. 3. Client to provide preferable meal for dinner before check inn.
Our stay was for bed only. The room was clean and quiet. Everything worked and had no problems. As I was dropping my daughter off to start her university studies at Tygerburg Campus, the guest house was close to where we needed to be. Staff were friendly, even though I had to check out at 4am to catch a flight home.
Stayed at the guest house for about a week. It felt a little expensive for my experience there. Had some issues with the bath tub as it leaked each time I took a shower in it. Breakfast was good but the variety decreased over the course of my stay. The staff at the guest house were the highlight of my stay. Very friendly, very accommodating and always ready to help. I definitely enjoyed their company.
There were 4 of us staying and unfortunately this was the only accommodation nearby that could take all of us in one location. The place was very clean, however, it is a very old but lovely building which smelt exactly like that. Rooms were generously sized and comfortable. Towels were lovely, but the sheets could have been replaced as a couple of us had holes in them. Breakfast and dinner are charged for extra, and while breakfast was very nice - dinner was not and at R195 per plate definitely not worth it.
I don't have much to say, because I only stayed for one night. Reception was friendly on arrival, the lady (non South African) was helpful. The checkout experience was average. Another lady was on duty and seemed annoyed when I asked questions. Not really value for money. Over priced.
the place is good, and it has a secure parking and very quite and its easly to find. I enjoyed my stay at boston and the service was excellent. so as it was my first time in cape town that has really impressed me
No towels on arrival Had to search for keys Used condom boxes in cupboard Didn't had breakfast after I arranged the previous day When I got back the evening there was no parking for my car and I had to leave it outside in the street Never met anyone except for the staff working there, who are very friendly
The place is beautiful, the service was ok. I had a problem with my aircon not working and I was forced to open the windows and I was attacked by mosquitoes whole night. We were woken up at 2am because there was not enough parking. I left more exhausted than before. Not worth the money I spent for a get away
For our purposes the location was great, in general it is very easy to get to, but for tourism I would say not so good. That said, business in that are of Cape Town the location and ease of getting to is great. Staff very friendly. But I might suggest for the staffs sake some form of night security. Though I did feel safe there.
