The photo's of this place is old photo's. A lot of maintenance will be needed to this property. A lot of paint peeling off the buildings. The rail is so skew. Some handles are fixed and you still see the old holes. You can se clear mark of leaks across the ceiling.
We've stayed several times in another place in Colesberg for R150 - R200 per night, but it was still neat.
I would rather pay more next time for other accommodation.

Room Tip: Not here rather sleep on Colesberg at Huis Visagie. They are clean and have excellent security

We stayed the night on the way back to CT. Was very affordable. Room clean and we were very happy with our stay. Only niggle was that the duvet was a bit thin for June. Will probably use it next year on the way back from the Callaho Auction.

We stay at the lodge every single year for the whole week of the beaufort west horse show in March. And we are really happy. it is not top class but it is liveable for us. Kids enjoy the pool and playing on the lovely grass. Theres a lady that clean the rooms every day while we are out and about on the show grounds. Basically the lodge is for us to sleep shower refresh ect and the kitchen. And every year we choose springbok lodge, the owners know us by now already :) almost 5 years we've been booking with springbok

Not recommended for humans. The place is not maintained. We stayed there a few years ago and the accommodation was reasonable maintained , now the accommodation is run down. Never again. The bathroom is horrible. Tiles are cracked. Linnen is very thin. The outsideparking is used for a parking lot for scrap cars. The kitcken area is dirty.

We stayed here totally out of desperation as a pit stop en route to George.

I would not recommend this to anyone.
The place lacks basic amenities and feels dirty.

There is no proper kitchen facilities and the bathroom is extremely basic
