Detailed Reviews
You can just have a look at the door lock of the unit's new sliding door (very good quality).
The slot of the lock mechanism needs to be adjusted as it is sticky when trying to turn the key to lock the unit from inside.
Apart from that, this is superior money worth.

We are looking forward to enjoy the resort in the summer as well! The kids loved the animals so early in the morning. It is save and very clean and the kids really enjoyed it!
The only thing that needs attention that I can fault on is the kids play area that needs a little TLC for the safety of our children. Then the Wi-Fi is a little faulty on the signal in room 7 (self catering) You loose signal in some areas on the plot.
The hospitality is very nice. Respectful, full of laughter and caring.

This was our first visit, on a friends recommendation due to its proximity to Beaufort West. We stayed overnight and we pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation, the pleasant environment, the clean sheets and everything else was spotless too. The Manager was wonderful, interested and accommodating. We had a great breakfast before leaving. We will certainly stay at Teri-Lemveli again. The rates were most reasonable too.Care has been taken with very nice decor in the dining room.

I can recommend Teri-Lemveli Lodge for either a one night stay over or perhaps for two nights. Sanette was extremely friendly and helpful from the time I enquired about the availability of accommodation. at the Lodge. The chalet was clean and well equipped for a one night stay over. We arrived a bit late and it will definitely be better to arrive early and enjoy the environment.

This was a last minute booking and I am so happy I found this quiet little place. We pulled in and immediately saw a couple of Sable walk in front of the car, and we get to the check in and we were greeting by a very friendly owner. She was getting ready to shut down for the night but at the check in there was some wonderful little dinners that was greatly appreciated since I drove for 8 hours and did not want to go out and find something. I grabbed a couple venison pies and a couple of drinks and off to my cabin. When I got inside I was in heaven. The pictures did not do justice to the cabin. The cabin was absolutely amazing. I felt at home. I had the best night sleep. There were only the two of us but the cabin could have slept more. Sitting on the patio before bed you could see the stars and hear just quiet. The view in the morning as the sun came up was equally beautiful. You could see the animals in the distance and still hear nothing. I was very happy with this last minute find and I so look forward to returning next year. I would highly recommend staying here. The price was perfect and the stay was great. Missed breakfast as we had to leave early but there is always next time.

Staff are all very friendly. Cleanliness of our room was excellent. The rooms are well fitted out with all necessities. The lodge is situated in peaceful & tranquil surroundings & rates are very rrasonable. Teri-Lemveli is highly
recommended & we will definitely bear it in mind for any future stop-overs.

We were on route to the Free State and stayed one night at Teri-Lemveli. Almost everything was perfect. The quiet, the accommodation, the friendly reception and the availability of a well-stocked farm shop. The only thing that did not work well was the wi-fi, something which is almost standard at all accommodation. For older people, the steep stairs to the upper bedroom is also quite risky, but we did not use that room, so it was fine for us.

We stumbled on this accommodation by accident when we were looking for somewhere to stay overnight on our way back to Cape Town. The place we thought we would stay was not answering the phone and we were not sure how much further until we found something so pulled in when we saw the sign on the gate. Once inside we loved the place so much we asked to extend our stay to a second day and we spent the next day walking around the reserve and watching the animals. The house was very comfortable and the reception so helpful and accommodating. Everything you need for a braai is sold in the shop and the breakfast at the restaurant is delicious with a stunning view of the waterhole. We will definitely stay here again the next time we have to travel the N1.

I stayed in chalet 3 and was disappointed there was no Dam view as stated on the website. I found the chalet a little dark. The kitchen area was well equipped but badly designed. The toaster and kettle were in a corner behind the fridge. There were few power plugs available in the area so I had to unplug the microwave to use the two hot plates. A colander or sieve would be useful.
Wifi is limited and not great in this chalet.
There was loadshedding one morning. The generator is right next to chalet 3 and was very noisy and smelly.
Those are the negatives. The staff were very nice and helpful and the view over the dam from the restaurant decks was great. There are also some antelopes and giraffe around which make pleasant viewing. The pool was nice and refreshing and there are braais everywhere!
The place is very reasonably priced and I recommend it if on a budget. But ask for a different chalet mainly because of the position of the generator.

We were referred by friends who loved their stay and we were not disappointed. Sanet is so well organized and informed us about everything we needed to know regarding our stay and what we could do in the area.
Teri-Lemveli is close to the the Karoo National Park and we were able to do day trips into the park.
The self-catering chalets were beautifully decorated and equipped and the view over the dam beautiful with various buck and Giraffe roaming freely.
The shop has meat for braaing and anything else one might need or have forgotten as well as good, dry fire wood. There is a beautiful bool area, but unfortunately too cold to swim during our stay.
If you booked breakfast, there was a great variety of meals to choose from, which were delicious.
We would have nor hesitation to recommend staying there.
