Down for a week on my own.
I had arrived before check in time but it was no problem for them as my unit was ready. Simple and easy and the help with my luggage was exceptional. Actually I never found a single staff member that was not helpful and always willing. The unit was cozy and compact, comfortable and well equipped for self catering. All the important soaps/shampoos were available and the unit was cleaned every day. Parking is not easy and every time I came back from a trip (at all times) there was someone to help me squeeze my rather large motor vehicle into my spot. (There is a daily charge for parking on the property). There is complimentary Wifi and it was a good signal. My stay here was very pleasant and the views from my balcony splendid.

Truly magnificent location, beautiful resort. This is more like an apartment, no activates or communal space, small lounge and great pool area and BBQ facilities. They offer a shuttle service which made transportation a dream. No need to have your own car, parking is a nightmare. Walking distance to Sea Point and beaches with an easy sidewalk to walk on. Staff are more than willing to please. Unit size was spacious and view is breathtaking, furnishings are a little dated but well maintained. Could not ask for more.

This was an amazing place to stay in. Right over the boulders where the Atlantic Ocean washed with the most fantastic views. Extremely clean apartment with everything necessary for self-catering. The only problem was the proximity of many great eateries!!! No need to cook in the unit! Great location for both cycling and walking. Sea Point is minutes away and Camps Bay a nice stroll or cycle away. Book a parking if you can as this area is really limited in street parking spaces. Highly recommended.

The location of the place is good , views are world class but rooms are lacking. We stayed in a 1 bedroom loft. size is ok but furnishings are old. bathrooms are not well done. taps are lower grad. floor squeeks on the loft. if you are tall forget it , it wont work. walls are paper thin and you can here neighbors from up to two doors away. pool area could be nicer. staff are too sticky with checkout and check in times. we would stay again but i would try get a better room or just lower my expectations

Own timeshare there and love the place. Beautiful view, well run, staff terrific -BUT there seems to be continuous renovations and building with builders noise and dust all day. This has happened numerous times we have stayed there (first time it was building next door-not their fault but two holidays destroyed). We thought all this was behind us but we’ve just heard that renovations due again this year. Considering going elsewhere. A big minus.

I stayed here for a mid week. I had a one bedroom luxury unit which was great. Everything one required. Could feel the Southern Sun touch. Had stayed here over 20 years ago when I found it to be very average.

Outstanding views and spotlessly clean. All staff very friendly and helpful except for one whose comments I found unacceptable to a Guest regarding the nightmare with the parking.

Parking has always been and remains an issue. I was not on holiday and constantly in and out the building. My fault. I should have stayed elsewhere. And I can drive and park pretty well. Thus this particular staff member’s comments did not go down well. He too commented parking has only been an issue ‘this week’ and that he ‘doesn’t know why’. Parking has never been easy.

Lovely for a relaxing holiday using the shuttle.

A very nice stay with an amazing view over the Atlantic Ocean. The rooms were clean and tidy. The location is superb with plenty of attractions close by. If you do have a car you need to either pre-arrange a parking bay or park a little down the road and walk to the resort.

We have owned a couple of weeks timeshare at Bantry Bay for quite a few years. This was the first time we had utilised both weeks. A simply wonderful experience. Sean Daly and his team are so friendly and go out of their way to make everything just as it should be - and then some! The standards are very high. Imagine waking to the sight and sound of the sea crashing over the rocks right outside your window. Just magnificent! The slightest problem is dealt with quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended.

This oceanfront property has amazing views and all apartments face the water. The rooms are dated, but it worked great for us as we enjoyed the spectacular morning and sunset views and were gone most of the day. The rooms have a private patio and there is a communal deck with a pool, lounging chairs and barbecue. Either place is excellent to watch the sun set and have a few drinks.

The rooms themselves are bright but older. There is a fully stocked kitchen with a microwave and a living room with a fairly small television. Our bedroom was on an upstairs loft and had curtains so you could have semi-privacy. The bed was fine but not to the standards of those in luxury hotels. There was ample space in the room for luggage storage. Our bathroom was very cramped and had a low entrance (hit my head twice) but was clean.

The housekeeping was excellent and was expedient in delivering items to stock the room and showed up at our designated time to clean the room and wash the dishes. The daytime front desk staff was very helpful (the night staff wans't unfriendly but was not as resourceful). There is a free shuttle with very limited hours. Their wi-fi setup is a pain as you only get three hours of access at a time and have to obtain new login info after each expiration.

The property is on a beautiful residential stretch between Sea Point and Clifton. It is a scenic 15 minute walk to the Clifton beaches and 35 to Camps Bay by foot (or you can wave the local bus down for a short ride - ask the front desk for details if you haven't used these in Africa). As far as stores and restaurants, it is a ten minute walk to Regent Road in Sea Point where you will find grocery stores, restaurants, shops, etc.

We think this the best location in Cape Town and would definitely stay here again.
