On arrival our chalet was filthy. We complained and were moved to another chalet. Main light not working, hot tap in kitchen broken. Mid week, a whole lot of people booked in, made such a racket until after midnight. No security complained. The next day, pool unaccesable due to same people. We decided to braai and play music, at 19h00 we were warned to be quiet! Will never go back.

I was placed in room 27 and at first glance the experience looks good. You get a cool bag with the keys and remotes in it. After an hour i wanted to shower when i realised that they forgot to give me a towl. I also noticed that there were almost no amenities here. In the bathroom the soap dispenser is broken but theres no soap to replace it. The large concern is the bathroom roof is full of mold. The stalf are really friendly but dont know whats going on on site. In efforts to get a towl i was bounced from a couple stalf. I enquired about wifi and people just said they dont know eventually tracking down a number of someone who could help. The room otherwise is small but perfectly servicible for business travel with a big bed, tv and aircon

Omaramba you can delete my ratings as much as you want I will not stop....!!!!!! So the Owner of Omaramba, Ernist Klynhans called me regarding my complaint below. What a disgraceful unprofessional call was that from Ernist, so he basically told me to solve the problem I must just say away from Omaramba????? What type of business man of an holiday resort speaks to his clients like that ????? So I will not let this GO...!!!! I will make sure that Omaramba will get low rating until I get a personal apology from the owners of this Resort with PROOF THAT THEY ARE the owners of the resort. The Resort Manager Nehan Ungerer & his wife Mariaan Ungerer along with the Entertainment team are the most unprofessional team I have ever come across in the Resort industry. We have booked in for the "So-called" beer fest but was so poorly organized and to top it of the unprofessional why they handled guest complaints. There have been several complaints from other campers who also complained about the poor organization of the so-called beer festival. My fiance was intoxicated and were dancing on the grass enjoying his self the Saturday afternoon, where the entertainment guy walk over to him and told him to leave as there are complaints that he pulls his pants down, which was not the case. My fiance have lost a lot of weight and with his dancing his pants kept falling off BUT NOT to his knees just below his waist. He was so upset how the Omaramba staff embarrassed him and he wanted to leave and was not in the mind set to drive. I have confronted the entertainment guy and asked him who where the people complaining and got bad attitude from him I asked to see the Resort Manager Nehan Ungerer who came and spoke to me, when I asked him where the complaints come from he didn't know??? A long story sort, that evening the band did an announcement that they don't stand for gays on the dance floor. I got very angry and again got confronted by Nehan Ungerer and his wife who was so intoxicated and started to insulte me in from of all the guest at the pool. One of the staff members asked me in a disgusting manner were is my hair? how more can this Resort be insulting Things just escalated where Security got involved and we were thrown out from the Resort 11pm the Saturday night. We had to drive back to PTA being so intoxicated and the Resort didn't care about our safety. They will not see my complain this once, I will continue until I hear from the owners or directors of this Resort. Disgusting Ownres & Managment team. Look all Rieviews up on Omaramba. Some are old BUT still Apply to Omaramba in 2022.

The booking was easy and the staff were helpful. We received our booking confirmation promptly. On arrival checking in was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were allocated a site next to the pool area. The site was spacious and paved with running water, built in braai and an electricity point. The area is clean and tidy. The ablution blocks are clean and cleaners are on duty all untill late. No problems wit warm water. There was entertainment at the pool area and great fun was had by all. Entertainment included pool games and various competitions. There was a music quiz on the one evening and a dance the following evening. We attended to the shop which is a bit expensive but not out of line with resort shops elsewhere. A nice relaxing weekend. We will come again!

This place was simply amazing. Stayed in chalet number 5. House very comfortable and made bbq every night. The fun and entertainment's at the pool was good to. There was quad bikes to rent. But my favourite part of the day everyday was to see the few Springboks to see them eat grass outside my window of chalet. Also enjoyed the fresh air and the long walks on the eatate. Come visit this place you wont be dissapointed

Typical nostalgic afrikaans culture holiday camping, friendly, happy go lucky place, family fun, no nonsense, down to earth resort..... not suitable for snobs or judgemental people. We had a great time and will go camping there again. Affordable rates.

Stands are allocated to you. The stands were small. We found the bathrooms to be dated and in need of a upgrade. We wanted to do some laundry, but was told that there was no coin operated machines, instead we had to pay houskeeping to do it- at extreemly high tarrifs.

We spent a recent (April 2018) long weekend away at this site, i must say that the booking went well and we were welcomed on arrival. The sites that we had been allocated were not fit for tents at all due to gullies in the sand from water runoff etc, so we managed to set up our camps on the adjacent field which was far better. The activities around the pool were great and lots for the kids to do. I feel that there are too few ablutions and the ablutions are not up to standard, no soap was supplied in the one closest to our site. In all the camp was average but i feel that their campsites need a lot of attention.
